After we left the barbie day spa
Mommy took us to the international house of pancakes. For breakfast
My sister Amar'e'enjoyed getting pedicures, manicures and facials
The technicians gave us each a gift bag full of goodies. We haven't looked inside, we pulled up into the parking lot of the restaurant. Mommy turned off the car, and we headed inside
Where the waitress ushered the Three of us to our table. Joy was her name
She placed three menus in front of us
Amar'e'already knew what she wanted to order. As for me
I always had a hard time deciding what to get, mommy was the same way. Our waitress came back over and taken our orders, mommy got
Blueberry waffles and eggs. With tea
I ordered chocolate chip pancakes
And a glass of orange juice, Amar'e'
Went with waffles with Strawberry on the side. Chocolate milk, mommy handle the menus back to Joy
Mommy's cell phone went off, she declined the call. Because it was our special day, our party isn't until 6pm to 10pm. We waited for the food to arrive, mommy excuse herself from the table to go to the bathroom.
Channing who do you think was calling mommies cell, Amar'e'asks me
I'm not sure obviously it was somebody didn't want to talk to
Channing says to her sister. Do you think it's was Jordan mom's ex girlfriend. Amar'e' said, no remember they broke up three years ago and she cheated on mommy, Channing
Joy brought over their meal.
Lena came back over to the booth
She heard the tale end of the conversation her daughter's were having. She knew she needs to settle the situation, before it becomes a bigger issue. Lena clears her throat
Babies l know your worrying about me, and you think Jordan is going to come back. Remember what I said before, Lena said. Yes they both said
Let's eat this wonderful birthday breakfast, Lena bowed her head
And say her grace. Everybody said amen and begin eating their food
Joy the waitress came over to their table and told Lena that the check was already taken care of, Lena looked around in the restaurant
Thinking who could have picked up the tab. to pay for their meal
Then it hit her, this was a classic Stef move. But Lena never told her girlfriend where they were having breakfast at, Stef must have called several different diners to locate them
Lena thinks to herself. Stef was the most sweetest, generous woman she ever met. Stef always made her laugh
