Lena's: POV
I'm so glad it's Friday it's been a hell of a day. I've been in the operating room since 6:30am this morning
The hospital is always stays busy
I have two more hours to go, then I have to go home shower and change my clothes. My bag is already packed
I purchased a few new items from my favorite store called the candy store
I head to my office to do some last minute paperwork. Before heading out, l enter in my office and take a seat at my desk. I turn on my computer, while it was loading up
I open up my bottle of Gatorade
I stare at the girls pictures on my desk
All my degrees are hanging up on the wall, l did pretty good for myself
I have a supportive partner who adores me and my daughter's
I don't think l would have made it this far without the grace of God on my side. Stef and I mash well together
I never thought l would ever find love again, l wasn't even looking for a relationship. But l'm glad l found it
I begin charting all the information
in the system, as l'm sitting here thinking how my life turned out
If my parents were still alive
The girls probably would have spent the summer with them. As a child growing up we traveled all over the place. I've been to twenty five states so far, l planning on doing the same thing with channing and Amar'e''
I didn't get a chance to look through the girls gift bags. Kelly said she put something in it for me, l'm dying to know to know what it is. I guess
