After the plane landed, I went through security and got my luggage. My stomach kept tying up in knots in anticipation of whom I would be meeting. April was kind enough to drive me to the airport back in Boston and we said our goodbyes there.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on Niall!" she said, pointing a finger at me. However, her threat was lessened by the bright smile on her face.

I shook my head and laughed. "Don't worry, you know I won't. 'M not into him, remember?"

"Wait, what's gonna happen with the tour tickets we had?" she asked.

I shrugged. "Let's keep them and see what we do with them later."

I looked through the busy airport 'til I spotted a suited man holding a paper with my name printed on it. I made my way through the crowd until I reached the man.

"Victoria Nardini?" he asked with a stern voice.

"Yes, that's me," I responded, suddenly nervous, afraid of  forgetting my own name.

He merely nodded and told me to follow him. He grabbed my luggage and we walked together to the parking lot. He opened the car door for me and I got in the backseat. He opened his own door and got in, adjusting his seat and then, we we're off to the hotel. I stayed quiet, not really being great at small talk. When I saw he wasn't eager to speak to me either, I grabbed my headphones and listened to music.

I found it truly pathetic that I couldn't stop listening to One Direction's entire discography ever since I got the job. As if they are going to randomly ask me to recite every single one of their songs. I bet they don't even remember all the lyrics to their own songs, I must know more than they do. But still, I was settled on being prepared because anything could happen and I was not about to embarrass myself with not knowing the words to their songs.

I texted April and my parents, told them I had gotten in safely and was on my way to the hotel. April warned me about not trying anything with Niall again, but I reassured her that couldn't happen. With a light chuckle, I turned to face the window. I couldn't try anything with Niall because Harry had always been my favorite. I don't know exactly what it is, but since the band started, I had always felt a pull towards Harry.

April and I had always had very different taste in guys, which is great because we never fought over someone, even if it was something as silly as a favorite One Direction member. She was the one who discovered them and told me to watch their X-Factor videos. When I came home, after one of my parent's trips, I stayed the night at her place and we watched every single video we could find of them and decided, then and there, Niall was "hers" and Harry was "mine."

Since then, we changed our whole personalities to fit into being their alleged girlfriends. At one point, we even changed our contacts to "Mrs. Horan" and "Mrs. Styles." Thankfully, we don't have them like that right now, imagine how embarrassing would it be if the boys ever looked at my phone and saw something like that.

I smiled at the memory and realized the car was slowing down. I looked out the window again and saw we were parked at some hotel and immediately felt my stomach tightening. I put away my headphones as the driver came over and opened my door. I mumbled a quick thanks and got out of the car.

"I will give your luggage to the bell boys, they'll know where to take it. Now, just go find Michael, at the conference room, he will give you further instructions," the driver said.

I nodded and thanked him.

"Good luck," he said with the faintest of smiles. I smiled back and turned to start walking into the hotel.
