A/N lol hi everyone i'm sorry I took such a long break from writing. I finally got diagnosed with ADHD and wow doesn't that make sense, I was so obsessed with Stray Kids and this fanfiction that I was writing every week without fail, and then suddenly it stopped. anYWays i'm back for now! 

Third Person POV

The day after the BBQ, Yeona opened her eyes to bright sunlight streaming into their white bedroom. There was a faint pounding in her head. Hungover. I'm not surprised. She groans to herself a little and turns her head to see that Jeongin is still peacefully asleep. His breaths are steady, in and out. His lips twitch ever so slightly, and he sighs in his sleep.

He's so ...beautiful.

She slowly lifts her hand and brushes a finger softly against his lip. She traces his lips, then his defined cheekbone. The sunlight rests on his features, admiring them as much as she is. He stirs, and with his eyes still shut, wraps his arms around Yeona, pulling her into his chest.

"Good morning," he mumbles into her hair.

She snuggles deeper into his chest, one leg wrapped around his hips. "Good morning. I'm hungover, what about you?"

He chuckles a little, and cracks one eye open to test himself against the light. "Ugh. Yeah, a bit."

They stay like this for what feels like forever, just breathing in sync with each other, tracing small circles with their fingers.

"I love you," Yeona mumbles.

Jeongin's arms tighten around her, and he sighs, whispering it back.

The day is slow as the pair recovered from their hangovers with electrolyte drinks and warm soup. They spend the afternoon on the balcony sofa, drinking coffee, talking about anything, eating snacks and sharing kisses. These kinds of days were rare, and they were really soaking in the slow rhythm of it.

"Yeona, do you have to train later today?" Jeongin asks, knowing what the answer was.

She scrunches her nose, and nods. "Can't miss a single day, not with that competition coming up. Do you have to go into the studio?"

Jeongin nods too. "I'm working on some new things lately, so it's not so bad to go into the studio."

Yeona raises an eyebrow. "New things?"

He gives her a smirk. "You'll see soon. It'll be a surprise."

She snorts and says, "Okay, I hope it's good. Oh, is it okay if we carpool today?"

"Yeah, I'll just get dropped off first, sound good?"

She nods, and they turn on some TV to continue their afternoon of vegetating.

Later

"Bye babe, have a good recording session!"

Jeongin gives Yeona his signature foxy smile, and gives her a quick kiss. "Go get strong," he says, before jumping out of the car onto the sidewalk. She laughs, and closes the door so that the driver can continue on their way to drop her off at the training center.

She turns her eyes to her phone as they continue on their way, texting Jess that she'd be there soon.

"Miss, we've arrived!" Looking up, Yeona smiles and grabs her bag. "Thank you!" She says as she jumps out of the car. The car drives away, and she puts her backpack onto her back before taking a step toward the gym. Right as she looks forward though, she sees a girl directly in front of her, glaring into her eyes.

She ignores the strange girl and tries to go around her, but is blocked in her tracks again.

Frowning, Yeona looks at the girl and asks, "Can I help you?"

The girl snarls at her, "You're the bitch who's dating my man."

Yeona's eyes go big. "What?"

"Jeongin is mine, how dare you date him!" She yells at Yeona, stepping closer to her. Yeona takes two steps backwards, trying to understand who this girl is. Is she just a crazy fan of his? She thinks, but before she can even confirm it, the girl lunges at Yeona, pushing her directly off of the curb into the busy street.

The world spins around Yeona slowly. She tries to summon her reflexes to catch herself from falling into the dangerous road, but there is only so much she can do when she's not on the ground. As she makes hard contact with something, the last thing she sees is Jess, racing out from the gym's front doors.
