It was only after a week when the boys knew that Zack was home. They were confused why he never told them. Rian just saw him going out of 7/11 that Thursday night with a cup of coffee on his hand.

"Man, only four months left, and we'll be meeting your son." Jack laughed. They were at Alex's. It was midday, and Lisa was sleeping.

Alex smiled. "Yeah. I know, right? Man, I'm nervous."

Zack was lying on the couch, playing with a basketball. He was tossing it above him and catching it as it falls.

Rian was sitting on the ground, drinking beer.

Jack went back to eating his nachos, and Alex went to the kitchen to grab another can of beer for himself.

Not a minute later, Alex's front door opened. The boys sat up in shock. Suddenly, Stella came running while shouting the words, "Daddy?"

"Stella?!" Zack expressed with awe. "What the heck are you doing here? Are you alone?"

"No." Sunday then came inside the house. "She's with me, obviously. And we've got a lot to talk about, Zachary."

The three boys went quiet and looked at Sunday and then Zack. Zack was facing away and just looking at the wall, and Sunday was looking at him intently.

Alex stood up and sighed. "What's going on?"

"Nothing." Sunday said. "I just want to know why Zack ran off like a little girl and left us with just a letter."

Zack pursed his lips. "The letter explained it all. I'm leaving, and I do not want to see Stella cry. You know how much it pains me to see her like that."

Sunday faced Zack with disbelief, her eyes wide. "And you did not even care about my feelings of you leaving with only just a letter? That was not very formal."

"What's not formal about that? I wrote to you, I explained, and I also cooked dinner before leaving for I know that you will be so worn out from your directing and Laurence." Zack's voice became higher.

Rian then spoke up. "What? Who's Laurence? Alex, who is Laurence?"

But no one gave him attention.

"What's Laurence have to do with this, Zachary? And you know what? We broke up! I found out that he was just using me to star on the it show where I was directing." Sunday explained.

The two were arguing so loud that they did not notice Stella crying. Jack held her and brought her outside in the garden.

Why didn't the boys stop them? Because they couldn't. They were enjoying the show.

"I want my milk, Uncle Jack." Stella said when she ran back to Jack. Stella was running around the backyard, careful not to step on Lisa's flowers.

Jack nodded, but his mind was somewhere else. "Stella, who is Laurence?"

"Mum's fwend. He buys me candy." Stella jumped as she pretended she was being chased by a giant, ugly frog. Why did she jumped when she was being chased? Jack didn't know. "But mum and him kiss."

"Oh." Jack replied."Is he good-looking?"

"Uhuh." Stella giggled. "He is tall, too."

Jack snickered. "Taller than me?"

Stella stopped playing and looked at Jack. She then squinted her eyes. "Nope."

"WHAT'S THE FUSS ALL ABOUT? I WAS SLEEPING!" Jack heard Lisa shout. His eyes went wide, and he invited Stella to go back.

"Well. The fight is over. Come on now, Stella. Let's go back to your mum and dad."

The time they came back, Alex was on the stairs below his fiancé. Lisa's hair wasn't brushed, and her eyes were red.

"Baby . . ." Alex tried to explain, but Lisa gave her the eye.

"You shut up, Alexander. What is this? Why did you decided to fight and scream here at the house where a pregnant lady is sleeping? Can't you all talk in a low volume?" Lisa scolded.

Everybody was quiet. Lisa yawned and held her head.

"I'm going to go back to sleep, and I expect everyone to be quiet. Do you understand?"

"Yes."
