Two days in California was a blast. Rian's home was in Lake Forest. They were located in Highridge Way.
Rian's parents were at their neighbour's house at the moment, and the boys were just at the living room doing nothing.
Alex stood up from the couch. "I feel like drinking a smoothie. Who wants to come?"
"Naaaaaah." Jack answered.
"Same." Zack added.
Alex gave a blank and annoyed face. "How about you, Rian?"
"Sorry, man. Not in the mood. Thanks, though." Rian replied. He turned on the telly and switched the channel to HBO.
"Fine." Alex groaned and stepped out from the house.
He reached Bellaria Coffe House safely and ordered a smoothie and a waffle with butter, syrup, and whipped cream for takeout.
After paying for his order, with a bag of food in his hand, he decided to walk around for a bit until he reached Ralphs pharmacy.
Maybe he can buy something for his migraine. He entered the shop and lined to the counter. While waiting for his turn, he heard a voice.
It sounds familiar.
After paying for his medicine, he looked around the place. He is just making sure that he has not lost his mind.
When he reached the milk section, he nearly dropped his medicine and his takeaways. "Sunday?!"
Sunday turned around, and her mouth dropped. "A-Alex? What are you doing here?"
"You're pregnant?" Alex was stunned. They were both stunned. They do not know what to do.
A girl approached Sunday and took out a can of Anmum Materna. "Sunday? Are you okay?"
Sunday snapped and blinked. "Erm. Ja-Janice. Uhm. Alex. My friend."
Janice rose her left eyebrow and looked at Sunday. "What are you talking about?"
Sunday Shook her head. "Right. Sorry. Erm. Janice, this is Alex. He's my friend."
Janice looked back and saw Alex still staring at Sunday. He looks terrified. "Oh. Is he the father?"
"What? No."
Janice's lips turned into a shape of an O. "Oh."
"Sorry, Sunday. I'm just surprised to have finally found you. Where have you been?" Alex asked after a minute of silence.
Sunday looked down. "Here. With my sister. Janice is my sister, Alex. Remember I told you about her?"
Alex nodded his head. "Yeah, yeah. Hi. Nice to meet you, Janice."
"The same goes with you." Janice replied.
Alex was breathing heavily. "Can I, uh, hold you? It's been months.",
Sunday looked up, smiled, and nodded her head. Alex immediately hugged her and cried.
He knows it was an embarrassing move, but he can't help it. Questions again began to trouble his mind.
"Alex. Stop it." Sunday sniffed. "I'm sorry for leaving without saying anything. I was scared."
Alex let go of her and wiped his eyes. "Can we talk? Please. We'll go to Bellaria. I have a lot of questions in my mind, Sunday. Please."
Sunday, with watery eyes, looked at her sister Janice. Janice gave her permission and offered to pay for the milk. She then left the two.
Sunday and Alex left the pharmacy and went to the cafe. Alex insisted on paying for Sunday's order, and they sat at the far end.
"I'm so ashamed, Alex. I am so sorry. Words can't explain how sorry I am." Sunday began to cry again.
Alex held her hand and comforted her. "It's okay, baby. I understand. We understand. We're not mad."
Sunday covered her face with her hands and continued crying. "I am so sorry. I accept it if you can't forgive me."
Alex smiled. "Sunday, I am not mad. I said, it's okay. And stop crying. It's not good for the baby."
Sunday nodded and continued to hold Alex's hand. "Thank you, Alex. Thank you."
"So, did you run away because you got pregnant?" Alex asked softly.
Sunday again nodded. "Yes. I did not know what to do."
"You have me. You have the three. You didn't have to worry." Alex told her. Then, Sunday shook her head no.
"No, Alex. I know you were there. I know you would've helped me. But, it's different this time." Sunday sighed. She also took a sip from her smoothie.
Alex was confused. "What do you mean by that, Sunday? What do you mean that it is different this time? Do I have to know something?"
Sunday looked at Alex and smiled, sadly. "I guess it's enough hiding and time to let you know. There's no more use, anymore. You already found me."
"To let me know what?"
"Alex," Sunday began to say. "I am carrying Zack's baby."
