Deafening silence . . .

Even if the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and sand can wake somebody up at this time, for them two, it was nothing.

Even if the wind was so cold to make anyone sick, it was also nothing for them. Not even the bugs or the flies surrounding their heads.

Nothing mattered.

Sunday did not accept Zack's response because it was now or never. After a good five minutes, she walked up to him and kissed him.

She cupped his face with such strength and forced their lips to meet. Zack tried to reject he but gave in after a few seconds.

They made out in the sand. They touched and held each other. As Sunday was losing her breath, she backed away and laid her head on Zack's chest.

It took them a minute before speaking. "Sunday, what have you done?"

Sunday bit her lip and giggled. "Something you wouldn't do."

Zack was about to stand, but Sunday disagreed. "Let's stay like this for a while. I want to hear your heartbeat."

Zack chuckled and hugged Sunday tighter. "I might fall asleep."

"It's okay. I might, too. The sun's still not up." Sunday stated and kissed Zack's chest. "Good night, Zack."

"You mean good morning."

"Whatever."

And they did fall asleep on the sand with Sunday just wearing her bikini top and some short shorts. It was cold, but the warmth of Zack kept her safe and comfortable.

At about 8 in the morning, Rian woke up and found the two lying on the sand. He snickered and hurriedly told Jack.

"You wouldn't believe what I just saw." Rian told him, out of breath.

Jack rubbed his eyes awake and responded. "What?"

"Zack and Sunday. On the sand. Sleeping." Rian laughed. Jack immediately woke up and stood up. He got out of the tent and went looking for the two.

"Oh, sweet pineapples!" Jack exclaimed as he then laughed, afterwards.

It caused the sleeping couple to wake up.

"What are you guys doing here in the sand sleeping? Did something happen?" Jack questioned. Sunday groaned and sat up.

"None of your business. My head is hurting, and you're so loud!" Sunday complained. She got up and entered her tent.

Zack yawned and blinked. "Where am I?"

"In Mars, Zachary. Welcome." Rian joked. "Get up, buddy. The sun is already blazing hot."

Zack stood up and scratched his head. "I don't even remember how I got here." He lied. "Maybe I was just too drunk."

"Were you really?" Jack said.

Zack flipped him off and walked to the log to sit down. "Anyway, where's Stella? Still sleeping?"

"Yeah. And I guess Alex, too. We should leave soon. It looks like you and Sunday already made up." Jack beamed.

Rian stretched his body. "And I'm going to wake them."

Zack raised an eyebrow at Jack. "What do you mean?"

"Rian and I planned this trip to make you and Sunday make up. We didn't really do anything to help. It was just you two. And we're glad you did."

Zack, with dishevelled hair, looked so confused and mad. He, instead, just went to his tent where Sunday was taking a nap. He smiled and lied beside her. He held her and kissed her head.

Sunday hummed and turned her head to meet Zack. Zack caressed her face that made Sunday twinkle. "Hello."

"Hi."

"You should really get up. We're leaving soon and we should clean up the whole place." Zack commented. Sunday opened her eyes and met Zack's.

"Okay. Can you please give me my white shirt?" Sunday asked. Zack nodded and handed her the shirt from the bag.

As Sunday was wearing it, she heard Stella call for her. "Mum?"

"Wait up, honey. I'm just getting dressed." Sunday said. Zack was just watching her with tenderness and aegis. It's like he just wants to freeze the moment and hold it forever.

"You're a great mum, Sunday." Zack told her. Sunday looked at him and smiled.

"Thank you, Zack. I try to be the best mum for our daughter. I don't want her to grow up disappointed and say I'm useless." Sunday chuckled.

"Then be with me. Let's make our family. Let's complete it."

The End.
