Dear Sunday,
For the past few days, you made me feel welcome and allowed me to stay here and take care of my daughter. I really appreciate it. There are just a few things that I need to fix within myself, which I cannot do when I am with you. I'm sorry if I cannot tell you in person that I'm leaving because I don't want to trouble you or Stella. Anyway, please take care of yourself and Stella. I hope you can visit soon. I'll be missing you both. xx
-ZackZack placed the letter on the coffee table. It was now 9 in the evening, and Stella just went to bed. Sunday did, too, Zack pressumed.
The flat was now quiet and he'll be leaving in 5 minutes to go to the airport.
Before leaving, with a brokenheart, he took one last glance at Sunday and Stella.
He grabbed his luggage, turned off the lights in the living room, and closed the door. He went down to the lobby and walked outside to wait for a taxi.
When the taxi stopped, before entering, he looked back to the complex and smiled. A sad smile.
The next day, Sunday asked for a day off. The other directors can direct if they want. She just wants to rest.
She woke up early that day. She cooked breakfast, washed their clothes, and went to Stella's room.
"Where is Zack?" Sunday asked herself. She only found Stella alone there sleeping.
She thought maybe he just walked around the neighbourhood or got himself coffee somewhere.
Sunday then chose to let it go and decided to cook breakfast before cleaning the house again.
She woke Stella up to feed her, and the child asked where her father was. "Whew's papa, mum?"
Sunday sliced her pancake. "I don't know. Maybe he went outside."
When they were done eating, Sunday let Stella play in the living room while she cleans the table and washed the dishes.
Her Spotify was playing on speaker, and The Ghost of You of My Chemical Romance played.
She hummed along and went to the living room to check her daughter. She was reading some books.
As Sunday was about to go back to the kitchen, she saw a letter on the coffee table.
Curious, she picked and opened it. It's Zachary's handwriting. The front said: For Sunday.
Sunday opened the folded paper and read the words scribbled in it. Her head suddenly hurt after reading it.
It was as if she was gasping for air. He left, she thought. "Stella, your dad went home to Baltimore. He left us."
Sunday cannot seem to fathom what the issue was. Was it because of Laurence? Sunday broke up with him after discovering that he was just using her to be the main lead on the show Don't Rain on my Parade.
With an aching head and heart, Sunday thought about her and Zack's supposed kiss.
Actually, she cannot stop thinking about it since it happened. And without even realizing it, a tear fell down from her eye.
Taking a deep breath, she steadied herself and looked at her daughter. It got her thinking that it would be nice if her daughter was in a complete home.
Complete where her mother and father are together and living with her. Anyway, Sunday also needs to clear things out about her feelings for Zack.
"Stella," she said. Stella looked up at her mum. "What do you say if we go home next week to Baltimore?"
