We walked into the building, making our way to the counter.
"What size shoes do you two need?" An older lady asked. She had on leggings an oversized sweater, and a whole lot of makeup and hairspray in.
"I'll have a size eleven, please," he said and look at me, "what size do you wear, babe?"
"I'll need a nine, please." I said.
"Okay, I'll be right back." She said and scurried off.
"I didn't know you had such big feet." Jaxon said laughing, rubbing his thumb along my hand.
"My feet aren't that big!" I defended myself, "if anything, your feet are the big ones." I said pointing at his feet.
"I'll have you know, my feet are very average for a male my age." He stated matter-of-factly, smiling in the process.
"Seriously?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said, chuckling.
"Cool. Your feet are nice."
"Nice? You're so weird." He said, tapping my nose with the hand that wasn't holding mine, "in a cute way, though." He said smiling.
"Here you two youngins go; y'all have fun." She said, smiling.
We thanked her and each grabbed our ice skates and walked to a bench, he still had his hand in mine until we sat down. He quickly slipped off his combat boots and put on his skates, and I did the same. We set our shoes under the table, and walked towards the rink. Jaxon grabbed my hand again, which I didn't mind, and we finally got to the opening to the rink.
"I'm sorry that I'm, like, holding your hand so much." He said, nervously. A slight blush on his cheeks.
"It's okay; I enjoy it."
"Good. Okay, so are you ready to start?" He asked, looking over my face for some type of reaction.
"Yeah, kinda, not really. Let's just to it."
"Okay," he said and squeezed my hand, "is it still okay if I hold your hand?"
"Of course. I hope you know that if I fall down you're coming with me, though." I said smiling up at him.
"I'd be okay with that." He said, smiling.
"All right, let's go, slowly." He said and set one foot in the rink. I did the same, "now, let's slowly put the other foot in the rink. Make sure to level your feet, so you don't loose balance and take us both down." He said and chuckled. He then looked at me and I flipped him off, loosing some of my balance. "Oh shit." He mumbled.
"Oh my goodness!" I said. Jaxon's arms immediately wrapped around me, trying to prevent me from falling. He helped me catch my balance again and stand upright.
"Thanks." I said blushing.
"No problem." He said, looking straight into my eyes, his arms were still wrapped around me. I looked at his forearms, I honestly like the feeling of his arms around me. He quickly pulled his arms away, "um, sorry." He said nervously and look towards the ground, blushing.
"You're fine." I said, "I honsetly didn't mind your arms around mine." I admitted, blushing too. Jaxon opened his mouth to speak before someone else spoke.
"Um, excuse me." Some guy said, "could you move your chick and get out of the way? Some people would like to skate." He said, sharply. I hadn't even noticed that we were still blocking the entrance.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." I said and tried to pull Jaxon over to the side, almost falling in the process.
"Asshole," Jaxon mumbled as we stood to the side.
"Don't worry about it." I reasurred him, "let's get this lesson on the road." I said and grabbed his hand again.
"You're right. Let's go." He said and gently pulled me forward.
"I'm doing it! I'm skating!" I squealed. I was beyond happy now.
"See, it's not so hard, is it?" We had stated a few feet by now.
"Nope." Knowing my luck, when I said that, I lost my balance and we both went tumbling to the ground. Jaxon managed to land beside me, instead of crashing on top of me.
"You jinxed yourself." He said laughing.
"Shut up." I said and covered my face with my hands.
"You're so cute, don't cover your face." He said, grabbing my wrists and gently pulling my hands from my face. I shyly looked at Jaxon to find him staring at me. I glanced down to his lips, then back to his eyes. He did the same. He slowly leaned over and pressed his lips to mine.
Soo, they finally kissed! I'm really liking their relationship, even though they just met about a week ago. What about you guys? Moving to fast? Too slow? Just fine? What's your thoughts on Jed? Jaxon? Ellie? What about Chloe and the rest of them? Don't forget to comment and vote! Xx -Amelia
