"Ellie, you are such a cheater! There is no way in hell that you are beating me at COD!" Jaxon shouted. We were currently sitting in his basement floor, junk food and sodas next to us, playing COD. Jaxon was in black jeans, a Green Day muscle tee, and an all black Vans Authentic, snapback on backwards. We were currently celebrating our four month anniversary, we had just decided to stay home and play video games, it was our favorite pass time.
"I'm not cheating!" I defended myself. I play this game quite a lot, and I've improved my game.
"Bullshit. No way, babe." He said shaking his head, tounge sticking out, brows furred, eyeing the TV.
"You're just jealous that I'm beating you," I said, shoving a chip into my mouth, "because I'M BETTER THAN YOU!" I screamed.
"Nope, no you're not." He said shaking his head, focusing intently on the TV screen.
"Jaxon sucks, Ellie is awesome." I said in a sing song voice.
"Babe, I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible, please shut up." He said pausing the game and looking over at me.
"Fine. I'll stop talking so I can continue to beat you at COD." I said smirking. I reached over and hit a button on his controller to unpause the game.
"For the last time, you didn't beat me." He growled.
"Then explain why I killed you thirty-two times in a seven minute span." We were on the killing challenge where it was just the two of us on a map of our choice, trying to kill each other.
"You came out of nowhere! How was I supposed to see you?" He defended, taking a drink of his Pepsi, "you're some type of freaking ninja!"
"I'm just that good." I said smirking.
"Let's play a different game, yeah?" He asked, already getting up off the floor and taking the game out.
"Sure," I said shrugging, "no matter what we play, I will still kick your butt."
"Oh please, babe." He said rolling his eyes.
"Try me. Let's play a game, any game you want." I challenged him.
"Fine, we'll play FIFA," he said and stalked over to the TV stand, popping the game in, "I know you can't beat me at that. That game is my shit." He finished and sat back down on the floor.
"Okay." I stated simply.
The home screen for the menu came on and Jaxon started getting the game ready. He got everything ready to go and the game started.
We were on opposing teams, him on Liverpool and me on Manchester. I made the first goal within thirty seconds of the game starting.
"BULLSHIT, ELLIE, YOU'RE A FREAKING CHEATER!" Jaxon screamed, jumping up.
"Babe, I barely even tried."
"Well I sure as hell was trying my best." He said and pouted.
"Awe, poor Jax is upset that a girl beat him at FIFA and COD." I said, patting his head softly.
"I give up. Let's go get some pizza. I'm hungry." He said standing up. He slipped on his all black high-top Converse's. I slipped on my Vans and we walked out the door.
"Don't you need a coat?" I asked.
"Nah," he said shaking his head.
"It's freezing out here though." I said pulling my jacket closer to me.
"Not really," he said shaking his head again, "it's spring, babe. It's like seventy degrees out here."
"Whatever, I'm still cold."
We got into Jaxon's car, he started it and plugged in his aux cord. He typed on his phone a few times before locking it and driving off. 'Wake Me Up' by Crown The Empire started playing.
"This world keeps pushing down upon me,
And I keep hoping for a sweet dream. There's something left for me to see, There's something left for me to be," I said in a deep voice, "we can't ponder on this, world forever." I finished."You know we can save it, if together. Growing, day by day to make it, but my time's been wasted." Jaxon finished. We continued jamming out to the song, laughing at us trying to be screamo singers but failing terribly.
We got to pizza hut, Jaxon turning off the car and us getting out. We walked in and got seated, ordering a small cheese stuffed crust pepperoni pizza and breadsticks.
"So, I, um, I got you something for our four months." Jaxon said, getting slightly nervous.
"I thought I told you not to get me anything?" I asked, scolding him.
"I know, but I couldn't help it. I knew I had to."
"What is it?"
He pulled his hand out from under the table to set a small box wrapped in wrapping paper on the table.
"How did I not see you bring this in?" I questioned aloud.
"I'm just that good, babe." He smirked, "now open it! I know you'll love it." He said excitedly.
I reached over and grabbed the box, tearing the wrapping paper off. I pulled the lid off the box and looked inside.
"You. Did. Not." I said, putting a hand over my mouth. Inside the box was two tickets to Warped Tour, a Sleeping With Sirens shirt, a bracelet, along with two tickets to their concert next Friday night.
"I did." He smiled happily.
"Thank you so much! I'm so excited! Holy crap!" I shouted getting up and running over to his side. I gave him the biggest and longest hug possible, kissing him.
"I have the same shirt, and bracelet for myself." He said.
"You seriously don't know how happy I am." I stated, still having a humongous smile on my face.
"I know. There's another ticket in there for you to take someone. Have an ideas?" He asked, looking hopeful.
"I was thinking of taking you." I said.
"Yes!" He said, smiling.
"C'mon, let's go back so I can kick your ass at FIFA and COD again." I said standing up and heading out the door.
