Chapter 43

*Maddie's Pov*

'It's funny. I forget who you are and you still manage to see the first tear fall from my eyes, catch the second and stop the third from even entering my eyes' His eyes widen and his touch freeze's I bring my hand up and cups his face, leaning in softly. As I am centimeters from his irresisitible lips I whisper before joining our lips together

'Love always remembers Brad. You are my Love. I could never forget that'

As we finally pull away from the kiss that was well overdue, he rests his forehead against mine, looking to my eyes, they are filled with relief, hope, happiness and love. Our breaths ragged and at a loss.

'I'm sorry it took me so long'
'It was worth the wait, just dont foget me again'
'No way. Never going to happen. I love you way too much.' I can't hide the smile on my face and I can't deny that seeing him happy is what causes it. I look down and realise he has stayed out all night ' Come, on lets get you back you need to sleep and shower. you stink'
'oi thats mean, but yeah lets go'

We both stand and both instantly look down to what I am wearing, his long artic monkeys shirt that reachs my mid thigh, and underwear. Not even shoes. He sweeps me off my feet carrying me bridal style, chuckling at my clothing choice

'Really not even any shorts?'
'Well I'm sorry Simpson but when I woke up I came running for you'
'Oh so this how you slept, wrapped in my shirt'
'Yeah... I didn't understand at the time but I just wanted to feel you close'
'Well we are about to get a whole lot closer as soon as I get you in that hotel room'

He quickly walks back into the hotel that I had recently ran from. Heading to our floor and to our room, I tell him to shower and that we can make up for lost time later, While I go to see Nat for my hospital check up.

The feeling of remembering Brad, it feels like my life is complete again, like the puzzle I had been fighting to put together has now finally be joined and completed. I quickly chuck on some black jeans but kept his artic monkeys top on as it had his scent. I walk to Nats as I had my check up at the hospital and she had promised to come with me so that we could also sort out her little dilemma.

After a 20 minute car ride to the hospital we had finally made it, we were currently waiting in the waiting room to be called through. My legs bouncing nervously as I tap my fingers on the side of the chair, anxious on how this will go. We are sat in silence not sure what we could really talk about to ease the tension and nervousness.

'Maddison Horn' The docotor calls and I immediately stand with Nat heading to the consultant room.
'How are you Miss horn?'
'Great actualy, I have gained my memory back fully now'
'Thats terrfic, okay so we will run some tests qucikly then tell you the results okay?'
'Okay'

After what seemed like forever and test after test after test, they said they were done and would be back shortly.. I look to Nat and she seems to be deep in thought 'So Nat how are you feeling?'
'I'm alright Mads, just nervous you know? I dont know what to do'
'It will be okay I promise' I grab her hand and give her a squeeze. I love Nat so much, she is like my sister, she cares for me just as much as I do her. I was so lucky that she decided to speak to me that first day of school. Who knew we would be where we are now. I mean wow we are travelling and are in Miami , it can't get any better.

As the doctor walks back in and give a nice smile, he sits behind the desk, 'Well we have some news. We aren't sure how you will react, but please try and remain calm as stress will not help your condition. Okay Miss horn I have to inform you that....'

Everything freezes at his last words. What? I can't believe it. No. I feel the squeeze on my hand as Nat whispers 'It will be okay, we can do this together' I give her a smile as I reply 'It appears we are in the same boat Nat'
