*Maddie's POV*

After things had calmed down with the children and we had all taken some days just to relax and spend time together to appreciate what we have, things had been great. Never perfect but it is perfect for us

We had spent a week together, no work and no school, no friends and no distractions. Just us.

On Monday we had all had a massive lie in till 12 before the children came running into our room to wake us up, obviously that didn't go down well with Bradley who still wanted to sleep and lay in bed, which is what we had decided to do for the rest of the day. All 7 of us laid cuddled up with and on each other in bed watching film after film, only ever getting up for food and to go to the bathroom

Tuesday we ventured out to shopping for the kid's rooms, toys, clothes pretty much anything they had wanted to get we got them as long as it was appropriate and appreciated, after shopping for hours we had gone to get food and went back home so they could play

Wednesday we again went out but this time we took the kids to the new park around the corner, letting them run free while me and Bradley sat in a blanket with food set out for then if they wanted any

Thursday we somehow ended up at the dog store. Which also ended in us adopting a young puppy. I blame Brad for that. He literally got on his knees begging me in the middle of the store which led to the children copying his actions which then led to the people in the store thinking it was some kind of cute but weird proposal and so when I said yes to getting the dog the whole store cheered and clapped. Yup. That happened

So now we have a very little and adorable puppy called Georgie Mae Scruff. She is extremely scruffy but very cute and funny

Friday we had spent the day re painting their bedrooms which caused a paint war and in the evening we all got out own favourite takeaways although me and Brad ended up getting the same -Nandos. Oliver and Lexi both wanted Chinese. Noah got Indian, Caleb got Pizza and we got Sophia some McDonald's. It was fun filled and a very funny evening

Saturday and Sunday was spent similar as the children swam in the pool, played with Georgie and their new toys before doing all the homework they had missed throughout the week

It was something that helped us come closer to one another. The children understood how much we love then and how important they are to us. And we understood just how much seeing a simple smile to their faces kit out world up

However now, now it's all tumbled down. It was Monday morning, first day back to school for all the children and we was all laughing, smiling and ready to take them together. But that all come a a Halt when I opened the door to my mother

I take in her appearance, she doesn't look to great but she doesn't look homeless so I guess that is something. She is smiling weakly at me, which indicates she is scared and nervous but I can't bring my self to care all to much.

My children are sat in the kitchen eating their breakfast with my husband, I should be with them but instead I am stood staring with so much hatred at the women in front of me, who dared to call her self my mother

'What the hell are you doing here?' I spit I was going to wait for a reply but I didn't I fired more questions 'how did you know we lived here? And how did you get through the gates? This is a gated community, you need permission and right now you haven't got any, so your trespassing' the venom from my tone couldn't be any more poisonous
