Jessie's birthday finally. I've been so excited for her birthday, I've found it difficult to stay calm. We haven't had the easiest year so far , well it's been so damn hard. But me, Jessie and Tris we are a family and we love each other. I know she deserves so much more than what I can give her but how can I afford it. I brought her a big pink castle cake, hundred of pink balloons and a few personalised banners. Along with some gifts for her to open, it wasn't much but it's all I had. I lay in Tris' arms waiting for my alarm to go off, and as it does I hit it, stopping it from waking Tris.

I slowly got up and had a shower before waking the beautiful birthday girl. 'Wakey wakey princess' I walk over to her bed and kiss her forehead as she begins to wake up. With that Tris comes running in, sweeping her up in his arms and holding her in a fireman style lift as he ran down stairs, to make her breakfast on the way down singing 'happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Princess Jessie. Happy birthday to you'

I laugh as I followed him down. Once we were all ready we walked her to school and dropped her off. 'Oh hello Nat, you must be so excited ' Jessie teacher says as she approaches me

I'm confused what is she on about. As she continues. 'Are you all ready to go? It's going to be amazing for Jessie aswell, what an opport...'

Tris cuts her off quickly. 'Yeah we are all excited that it is Jessie's birthday, we have everything ready for her birthday, it's such a great opportunity to show her some extra love' his eyes wide. They made eye contact as I looked between them confused.

'Oh yeah, well I hope you have a great time this evening, is Maddie and Brad picking her up still?'

'Yeah they will be collecting her today as a surprise.'
And with that we part ways. I look to Tris who was taking his hand through his hair.

'What was that about Tris?'
'I don't know, weird aye'
.
He shut the conversation off quickly. Weird. Why was they acting weird? What's going on? We rushed up to get the house decorated. Abby, James and Con came round to lend a hand, considering there was 100 balloons to blow up. They were whispering most of the time but as soon as I walked in they would stop. What the hell is going on? I didn't bother asking as I asked before and they bluntly and rudely said 'nothing'

As Jessie walked in we all shouted 'happy birthday' her little face lit up she looked so happy. As she began to open presents, she was given a card by Maddie and Brad. Thinking it was just another normal card but was I wrong. Three tickets fell out. What the hell. As Jessie began to read the note inside. I could feel my jaw dropping. :

To Jessie ,
Because you are so very special to us, we thought we would take you on ad... vent... ure .... Adventure.
( she struggles to read the bigger words)
So in 2 days we will fly to see some very special people. There will be a princess castle and loads princess' for you to meet. I hope you will enjoy our ad...vent...ure ...adventure to Disney land in Flo...r..I..da.....

'Maddie can I speak to you?'
I stood up slightly annoyed and unsure. She followed me to the kitchen, I instantly began yelling quietly at her, I wanted to shout but I didn't want the other to hear. I said some harsh words, which I saw had hurt her. But I was so angry. How dare she? Eventually I let her talk and she explained everything. I admit I probably over reacted but I was in shock. No one has ever done anything so amazing before. She spent money on me to take us travelling and she was paying for everything for me Jessie and Tris. How incredible is that, even if she is now rich and can afford it, she doesn't have to do it but she is.

We are finally doing what we all promised we would. Jessie was bouncing off the walls for the entire evening, it took us all an hour to get her to sleep and even longer to calm her down before hand. I'm so lucky to be surrounded by amazing people. I love them all so much.

As they all left, me and Tris sat on the sofa. 'You knew didn't you?' I look to him as I see him smirk.
'How long have you known?' I continue

'A few days, it was a surprise. And what a great surprise. Can you believe this?! We are going to America' he begins to become excited as he wraps his arm around me pulling me into a tight hug.

'Im speechless, we will have to pack tomorrow, as we are leaving in two days ahh' I scream slightly as he lays me down on top of him. As we begin to drift off to sleep, I kiss his soft tender lips 'thank you, I love you Tris'
He kisses my temple wrapping his arms tighter around my waist, closing any gap there may have been. 'I love you to Nat,don't ever leave me okay?'

I smile, kissing him. 'I could never leave you. I'm not going anywhere that your not'

He smiles before a worried look comes to his face. I look to his eyes 'what is it Tris?'
'How do you think Maddie is coping? And how can she afford the tickets for us?'
'Shes putting on a good act, she smiles to make it look like she's fine but I can see the pain and to be honest I'm scared what she might do. If I didn't know her I would think she was fine but I do know her and I know she's smiling to seem fine, and she's even tricking her eyes to make them look happy. But she's not. I'm really scared about what she will do Tris. And her dad left her some money'

'I should have known that she was faking, how do we help her? And you don't think she would hurt herself do you? Surely she wouldn't. And how much money are we talking?'
.
'Tris, I don't know. We just need to be there for her as much as we can. And I don't know, when your that sad and alone you can do anything that you think will take the pain away. We just need to support her okay? But I also don't think she is is willing to let anyone in to help her, so we are kinda stuck. And a lot I shouldn't tell you, she doesn't want you or anyone to treat her differently'

'Ahh Nat I'm so worried now. What of we can't help her like I could help you. What if she gets further with it? I'm just hoping this trip will make her happy. How will I treat her differently, she's still Maddie, just tell me'
'Hey, don't say that. We will help her and to helped me. We won't let that happen to her okay. And she will be happy on this trip, this is everything she wanted and Ah okay 1.2 million'

He sits there as his jaw drops. 'Your kidding?!'
'No Tris I'm not. She's rich'
'Oh my god' he begins to gasp
'I know, we can talk more tomorrow but right now I need to sleep, we have a lot to do tomorrow'
'Okay Nat. I love you'
And with that we slowly fall asleep as I dreamt of America.
