*Brad's Pov*

I woke up with the bright light from the outside sun shining straight into my eyes, squinting I try to stop the blinding. We must have forgot to shut the blinds after we finished. As I think back to last nights activities I can't help but feel complete. Full of happiness, love and excitment. As I turn I expect to see the most beautiful blonde haired loving girl that I had always found by my side waking up to holding her tightly in my arms. But today I was sadly disappointed. Sighing I swing my legs around so they hang over the bed, wiping my eyes with the palm of my hands, I stand up. Having a look around I see the room empty. Today was the day she was supposed to tell me the truth. The truth about the mysterious brown envelope which indicated another bank account in her name with millions in, as well as a phone with a list of contacts. Confusion hit me. Where could she be? She wouldn't leave to avoid telling me would she? Sighing again I decide to have a shower, get dressed and look for her.

-30 Minutes later-

I had finally got my self out the shower and dressed, I was now completely dressed and ready.I walk towards the door and swing it open walking out into the hallway. Where to start my search?
'UNCLE BRAD' I turn hearing a familar excited voice. As I turn I see the most beautiful little bundle of joy running towards me, arms wide open with her brown hair flowing behind her. As I crouch down I open my arms for her to run into, gripping her tightly and swinging her around as her giggle filled my ears. As I stopped and rest her on my hip I look to see Mads smiling wide at me. She approachs me and takes my free hand interlocking our fingers

'I went to get Jessie, thought we could take her to the beach for a walk, while I explain everything to you. Sorry I took so long, took longer then expected to get Tris to open the door and get Jessie ready.' She laughs at her last sentence probably remembering the nightmare Tris was having with Jessie. She might look innocent but gosh she can be cheeky, stubborn and a right little diva. I smile and nod as we walk towards the lift to the lobby and to the beach.

As we reach the beach, I place Jessie down and she immediately runs off begging me to buy her a kite, her puppy dog eyes staring straight into my brown ones, as her lips went into pout and began to tremble as if she was to cry. I couldnt take it, although Mads told me not to, I couldnt help my self. I brought her a little kite and sent her down the beach to play while I walked hand in hand with Mads.

'Wait. Brad? is that Molly?' Her voice coming out confused and laced with concern. I follow her gaze and I am met with Molly sat laughing, accompanied with a boy whose back was to me. Mads begins to drag me over and reluctantly I follow her.

'Molly?'
'Madds. Hey. I am so sorry'
'Forget it. whos this?'
'Oh this is George?' He turns and I see his hand stretched out towards us, I shake it saying a 'hi' while he then directs his attention to Mads, shaking her hand to.
'Aw great to meet you. Erm.. Molly come for lunch with us all later yeah? Oh and bring George if you want to'
Molly and George send us a quick nod and smile as I drag Mads away.Its not that I was jealous. Trust me I wasn't, I am not. I dont care for Molly, I just want to know the truth and I was going to get it.

'Mads can yo-'
She cuts me off. 'Yeah Brad. I will tell you. But dont freak, dont interrupt and dont panic. Okay?'
I look to see her sparkling blue eyes 'Okay Mads'
'Okay so it all happened the night you went off in a mood and got drunk. When you came back and I had put you to bed. I got a worrying call from Jimmy and lets say it didnt go well.'

She pauses before continuing and explaining the whole torturous and painful story to me, I was in shock I had no idea what to do, or say or how to respond. When all this happened I was completely wasted and I couldn't comfort her, I know by looking in her eyes that this hurt her, killed a part of her heart knowing what had happened to her father and Jimmy. I looked to her and her eyes were full of tears as she was fighting to keep them back. I had no other way of comforting her. So I leant down and pressed my lips to her. It was a slow and passionate kiss, full of sadness, love, hurt and happiness. All the emotions we were feeling sparked into the kiss we were happily sharing. Her lips moved softly against mine, her lips so soft and plump, so loving and welcoming.

As we part I press my head to hers 'Mads. Im so sorry I wasn't there for you. I am so sorry I didnt hold you when you really needed me to and I am sorry that this has happened. But I promise the money your father and Jimmy died getting to you will be used to better our and our friends lives. We will work hard and be forever in love and together. I promise form this day forward I am never leaving your side. No matter what. Your mine. I'm yours.Me and You. Forever and always'

Her eyes searched mine as I searched hers, her eyes had a glint of sparkle in them as a smile tugged at her lips. She began nodding and went to open her mouth 'I lov- JESSIE NO' Her eyes flickered behind me, filling with fear and pain. It all happened so quickly. Before I could even turn my head, Mads had left my grip and was running for her dear life toward Jessie. As I turned I saw the horrifying image of what was happening before my eyes. I began running, but Mads had a head start and was slightly faster, it was as if she was running with every piece of energy and life she had within her, she put every thing she could possibly muster up into running up the sand and towards Jessie. I continued to run, faster and faster. But I knew, I knew I wasn't going to make it. My heart was breaking with each step I took.

My eyes flickered to Mads still running, she looked to Jessie and sped up which I didn't think would be possible but I was mistaken. As I continued to run I see out the corner of my eye Nat, Tris, Con and Lena stood on the balcony of Nat's hotel room, watching in complete horror. Nat had her head pressed to Tris' chest not being able to look, Lena doing the same with Con. I tore my gaze away and saw Abby and James coming out the hotel, laughing and happy. But Abby's eyes soon met the horrfying sight and her eyes widened as her mouth dropped open, causing James to look. He dropped her hand and began to run towards Jessie. But he to was too late. For what happened next completely tore my heart out my chest and broke it to a million pieces, but still my body tried to function, although it was struggling for breath and my palms sweating. As Jessie was thrown into my arms, sobbing. I caught her and held her tightly pushing her face into my chest to shield her from the sight as I looked back up to Mads, she looked at me with fear in her eyes, she knew she didn't have time, hearing her shout 'Forever and Alwa-'

That was it. I was frozen in place. Unable to move. Everything frozen in time as my eyes blurred from the tears.

*Maddie's Pov*

I finally understood why my father and Jimmy risked thier lives for me. They loved me and would do anything to protect me. Even die. I finally understood when I saw Jessie. I knew I would rather die if it meant saving her. I finally understood the risk.... the risk of loving someone more than loving yourself
