(its so well done but sadly i don't have enough talent for this i have no idea who the original artist is but credits to them)

this cycle had continued for a while. you finished classes, grabbed some food then left to go see Grey. apparently while you had been doing this Harry and the others have been going through somethings like finding out his godfather is coming to murder him also that same man had rat out his parents to this Voldemort dude. but to top all of that off Buckbeak is going to get executed tomorrow. upon hearing that news you got pissed off. now every time you saw Draco you'd glare; Bean had growled at him once when he tried coming close to you in class. on the bright side you had become best friends with Professor Lupin, or as you have started calling him Remmy.
(a/n: i don't know about you guys but i am best friends with some of my teachers so...)
you went to the clearing earlier than usual. approaching said spot you noticed someone lying on the ground asleep. walking towards them you looked them over. it was a man wearing what looked like a prison jumpsuit, the shirt was opened and you saw all the tattoos on him. you also noticed his dark eye bags, you face became full of sympathy. you know the struggles of not being able to sleep so you had sat a little ways away from him in a patch of flower crowns and started to weave some to make a flower crown. a hour and a half passed by when the man started to wake. you had almost finished your second crown, the first already placed on your head.
you heard the man groan and only raising you eyes from your task.
"oh your alive almost thought i had to bury a body." you murmured
the man snapped his head towards you.
"who are you anyway and where's Grey?" he stayed silent as if weighing his choices. after what felt like forever he hesitated with his answer,
"i am Sirius Black, but according to you my name is Grey"
you raised your head and an eyebrow, narrowing your eyes you looked for any traces of him lying but when you met his eyes you knew he was telling the truth.
"alright i believe you, as long as you don't try to kill me i'm good." you put your focus back on the task at hand. Sirius let out a sigh of relief and moved a bit closer to you.
"what are you making, if i may ask?"
you looked up a bit before answering with a smile.
"flower crowns, me and my family used to live on the countryside surrounded my fields. every saturday me and my mom used to go out and pick flowers. i remember once i saw a magazine picture of a girl with a crown of flowers and i just had to have one. my mom taught me how to make them and soon i had a new one every week." you had a distant look in your eye and a soft smile.
"well i don't really like to hold onto memories of my family but i have a bit about me and my younger brother, Regulus. when we were young we were um what's that muggle saying...ah yes, thick as thieves. when we couldn't sleep i'd stay up telling stories til our father came to tell us to get to sleep."
you had finished the crown by the end of his story. taking out your wand you placed a charm on it to keep it from wilting or being ruined.
"that's a nice memory, you know it's good to keep the memories of those we love. i don't really have any of my dad though he was kinda an ass. here put this on it'll look good with your hair color." you handed Sirius the flower crown, he looked at you surprised.
"you made this for me....are you sure you're a slytherin?" he asked
you laughed at that statement, "yeah i'm sure, i was apparently a hat stall from what the others said. but the last thing i heard from it was 'i pity those who wrong you' i didn't know what it meant by that. until i thought of what happened once when i was like 9. so this girl, lets call her Beca, so Beca had tried dising my older sister Diana and her wife Allia for being gay. she said "it wasn't right and the lord will damn them from hell" it was funny seeing a 9 year old try telling my 24 year old sister she was going to hell. but i had slight anger issues, i mean i still do, but let me tell you 9 year old me had a colorful vocabulary. i told Beca "well if your mystical sky god is gonna send my sister to hell then so is your daddy because i saw him with Mrs. Johnson coming out of a classroom and her hair was all messed up and she was panting like a dog." then i just walked away from her and asked if we can get ice cream. it was a fun day."
Sirius had laughed at the end, all he could imagine was a tiny y/n talking shit about another little girl's father then asking for ice cream after.
you and Sirius kept sharing memories about yourselves there were a lot of laughs and some serious moments but it was refreshing. after a while a comfortable silence surrounded you two.
"is it true?" you asked, turning your head to Sirius.
"is what true darling?"
you looked back down and started fiddling with your fingers. you didn't want ask but your curiosity was getting the best of you once again.
"word around here is you're here to kill Harry and that you gave away his parents hiding place to this Voldemort person."
Sirius' face had dropped into a frown and tensed once he heard the name.
"no that is not true. i'd rather die then rat out my friends. it was that damn Peter Petegrew. bloody coward cut off his finger and disguised himself as the Weasley boy's pet rat." Sirius sighed finishing his side of the story. you looked at him with sympathy but that sympathy soon turned into slight confusion.
"isn't there like a truth serum or something. i swear the wizard justice system is just as bad as the american one." you murmured.
"you know they have those nasty ghost things around the school. they've scared the first years i've started having sleepovers in the common room telling stories about america and Bean would cuddle with them. it was adorable when they heard my accent for the first time. they were so fascinated by it, constantly asking questions. Bean loves the attention too." Sirius smiled when you finished.
"i swear one of them might call me mom, one of these days." you added
you gasped and looked at Sirius mouth wide. "oh my god, that reminds me i almost called Professor Lupin dad today." you groaned. you buried your face in your hands remembering what happened earlier that day. feeling eyes on you, you looked up and saw Sirius staring at you with a cheeky grin.
"so you really meant it when you said Remus filled in that father figure spot" he teased.
you looked at him with a shocked expression. 'he remembered that? that was two weeks ago...'
"did you remember everything i told you?" you asked.
Sirius nodded at your question.
"huh thats the first, everyone usually says i talk so much and fast they can only remember snippets." you admitted.
Sirius looked at you with sympathy, then looked down at his hands. he still hasn't put on the flower crown.
"y/n do you think you can help me put this on? i don't want to ruin it." he held out the flower crown to you.
your eyes had immediately brightened, taking it from his hands, you stood up in front of him.
before placing it on his head, you started rearranging his hair. you were trying to make sure it looked just right.
once his hair was styled to your liking you carefully placed it on his head before using magic to make sure it was secure.
"there it's done." you stepped back to get a better look and you were satisfied with your work.
"want me to teach you how to make one?" you asked excitedly. if you both made at least three you'd have enough for your friends. your friends had decided to start calling you a "slytherpuff" because you had qualities of both houses.
Sirius had agreed to your question and for the next half hour you spent teaching and making flower crowns.
"why don't you make them using magic? magic would make it incredibly easier."
you thought about this for a bit, why don't you use magic?
"the answer is simple really. being a born from no-maj parents i learned how to do everything without magic. doing things without magic is just an instinct ya know."
you looked at your watch and noticed dinner would be soon. reaching in you bag you pulled out food from lunch.
"here, i was gonna give it to Grey, but it seems like he isn't here right now so i guess you can have it." Sirius chuckled taking the food.
"thank you, if i see Grey anywhere i'll share." he smirked.
raising from your seat you said your goodbyes and waved.
this time Sirius could wave back without having to wait for you to leave.
