Cole Swindell= amazing. I especially love his song Single Saturday Night. 😌

Adrians pov:

I stood quietly as I and the others listened. Cora grew more irritated by the second and I could tell this was really pissing her off. Adilyn was right about the heartbeat. You could hear a faint one aside from Coras. My entire world stopped at the sound and I felt my knees go weak. How? Im a vampire. This is too much in one day.

Coras pov:

I just stood there. Looking at my father. I didn't know what to say, do, or how to feel. I mean, what else does someone do when they find out they're impossibly carrying a miracle baby?

Adrians pov:

Cora just... vanished. Apparently she has the power of teleportation. I don't blame her though, today has been hectic. We chained her mother up in a discreet room and then we went off to bed. We were too tired and worn out, we can't deal with anything else right now. To my surprise cora was in our room of the cabin sound asleep. I immediately remember her falling over the railing of the stairs and think about how easily she can be killed now because she can't control anything. That explains the 8 blood bags a few nights ago. We'll be fine, nothing ever completely breaks us.

Coras pov:

I honestly don't know how I felt. So much has happened in less than 24 hours and my head is spinning. First, I drink 8 entire pints of blood. Then I scream as Dylan and end up getting me and my unborn child AND my best friend thrown over the railing, I hurt Dylan yet again that makes it twice in one day, my mother performs some weird ass ritual that leads to me, my powers go off the chains, my mother tries to kill me and almost kills herself, and then I figure out I'm pregnant and I'm engaged.

What else could go wrong today?

Will Adilyn be ok with it? What will Adrian do? Will my mother try to continuously kill me? Can I even raise another baby in this life?

I had so many questions and thoughts running through my mind that I had fallen asleep.

Or I thought so. I found myself standing outside of an apartment door. Inside, I could hear laughing. Giggling. A couples voices. And a baby's laughs. I opened the door quietly went inside. I turned the corner and saw me and Adrian playing with a little girl. They all looked up at me and the child raised her hand. All of a sudden I flew back and hit my back on the wall, breaking a hole in it.

I screamed in pain and then jolted up. I was back in the cabin. I looked beside me at a sleeping Adrian. He looks so peaceful. I calmed my breathing and then slowly drifted back off to sleep.

Adrians pov:

I felt something kick my leg and rolled over. Cora was sleeping and kicking around. I chuckled before getting out of bed. I showered, got dressed, and went downstairs into the room we secluded for Coras mother. Her dad was already in there and Lisa was very much awake. She looked a mess. Her hair was all over the place, her skin was pale, her eyes had bags and were very dark. It looked like she hadn't eaten or even seen the sunlight in days. She kept trying to break out of the chains pressed firmly into the wall and screaming for us to let her go, that she has to kill 'it' which I'm guessing is the baby.

"How is she?" I ask as I walk into the room. Lewis looks at me and then back to her before walking over to where I'm standing.

"She's completely out of it. The only thing I can get out of her is that she has to kill it. We all know by now that the 'it' is your child. Lisa is dead set on murdering that harmless baby."

"SHES NOT HARMLESS!!!! I have to kill it. I have to! It's the only way to free us, to save us!!" Lisa screams desperately. She wriggles her wrists and tries to break free but nothing works. She remains chained to a wall with no way out.

"Lisa, honey, can you understand us??" Lewis asks as he slowly and cautiously walks to her. She flinches as he slowly goes down onto his knees so he can see her at eye level.

"Yes."

"Good, that's good. That means you can talk to us. Lisa sweetie, what changed you last night?" He asks. She looks up at him calmly and stares him right in the eye.

"I had a vision when I touched Cora." She answers. She looks back down and finally gives up on trying to break out of the chains.

"What did you see?" Lewis pushes further.

"That child- it's a tribrid like Cora. It's extremely powerful and dangerous. It's bad enough one of those creatures is roaming the earth, we can't possibly have two. The only way is to kill that... that thing. Tribrids cannot walk this earth any longer. The longer they remain to exist, the more danger we put other supernatural creatures and humans in."

"Lisa you knew Cora was a tribrid because you were around after she turned. You could've killed her then. Why didn't you?" I ask curious as to what her reasoning is.

"She was my daughter, I couldn't kill her." She answers with a cracking voice.

"She still is. You're better off just killing her because if you kill her baby she will never forgive you. Think about it Lisa. This is your chance to watch your grandchild grow up. You missed out on that with Adilyn. And all of them would exile you and go far away where you'll never find them. Do you really want that?" I explain thoroughly.

"No."

"Then don't. Be a part of your grand baby's life Lisa. Trust me you won't regret it. But taking action will only hurt Cora and that's the very thing you're trying to prevent." I point out. She nods her head and Lewis unchains her. She heads straight for the shower with Lewis behind. I follow and we go up the stairs where Dylan and Julian are coming towards us. Out of nowhere she has a wooden stake in both hands and kills both of them on sight. She turns around and cracks Lewis' neck and then magically disappears.

Plot twiiiiiiiiiist! You didn't really think she would give up that easily, did you? She's a bitchy witch who for hours wanted nothing but to kill her grandchild. No way in hell will she change her mind after one talk down. Get ready for the action my loves!!
