I woke up this morning, took a shower, threw on my normal jeans, black t shirt, my converse, and went to my dads office. He had called me in to discuss something with Zane.
"Yes father?" I ask as I walk into the office. "My son, come on in." He says. I sit on the couch against the wall and Zane does the same. "So i called you both here to check up on the mission you two were assigned. Have you found the girl?" He asks. He sits up straight in his chair and intertwines his fingers and sets them on the desk like a businessman. "We haven't located her just yet. We don't even know if she's here in Texas let alone Austin." Zane says. "We need more information to go off of dad." I say with interest. I'm determined to figure all of this out. "I will see what I can find out, you kids go off to school now." He says. Zane and I get up to leave but my dad stops us. "And try to get close to that Cora chick you told me about. We need to make sure she won't be a problem." He adds. We nod and head off.
Coras pov:
I hear banging on my door and jolted awake.
"Who is it?!" I yell so they can hear. "It's Adilyn! Get up Cora." Adi says through the door. "You can come in ya know." I say. The door opens and Adilyn and Dylan walk in. "Hey D." I say as I get out of bed. I walk into the bathroom not bothering to close the door because Adilyns my daughter and Dylan's gay. I start the water for the shower and undress. The hot water meets my body and I ignore the burning sensation I feel. Adi and Dylan leave me to get dressed and then I'll meet them downstairs.

I applied some mascara, straightened my hair, and then went downstairs. I see Adi but not the guys. "Where are Julian and Dylan?" I ask. "Oh they're in the living room making out before we leave." She says. I walk into the living room and sure enough Dylan and Julian are kissing. Tongue and all. "Not that I don't love you two being together, but we kinda gotta go." I tell them. They stop and laugh and then we leave.
We get to campus and park our bikes. After we lock them up, we turn to go to class but a blonde bitch with a whole hell of a lot of makeup is standing before us with 3 brunettes behind her. They're all wearing short ass skirts and bralettes. Hell they barely even have clothes on.
"Which one of you sluts is Cora?" She asks but more like demands. God her voice is so fake and annoying. I step forward with a confused look on my face. Rule number 1 if a bitch like her comes up to you: go along with it until the insults arise.
"That would be me. How may I help you?" I ask with a fake sweet voice. "So you're the ugly bitch who danced with my man last night. God I thought the pink haired whore was ugly, but now I saw you." She says with disgust. "Excuse me? Don't you dare talk like that about her!!" I warn. The bitch starts laughing and good riddens, my ears are bleeding.
"Don't take it personal Cora, but you really need to fix that hair. Only natural shades look good on ugly hoes like you." She says with a large smile. What is this, mean girls? "Listen here Britney Spears, I don't need your damn opinion on my appearance. Especially not when you overload on makeup. And you wonder why guys never stick around longer than a night. They just have sex with you because you're easy and naive. You give in so easily when one guy needs to let loose and throw yourself at any fuckboy that's just gonna use you. Where the hell is your self respect?? Wait, wait, maybe it's the daddy issues-" I say but get cut off when a loud noise is echoed all throughout the parking lot.
"KAYLA WHAT THE HELL?!" I hear a familiar voice yell. Adrian. And I was right. I turn my head and see Adrian, Zane and Mariana running over to us. Adilyn and Athena are already in fight mode and Dylan and Julian are holding them back.
"Adrian! Coming back for more baby?" She asks sweetly and moves her shoulders to shake her breasts. Whore. "Don't touch Cora or I will kill you." He says firmly. Boss man go weeee! Shut up. What are you, 3? Rude.
"Of course you go for her. The mysterious slut. Let me ask you something Adrian baby. What the hell do you even see in her?" She asks. This girl got a very short temper. She grabs my wrist and holds it up. "TELL ME!!" She demands. By now all the attention is on us and I'm pretty sure we're late to class. I jerk my wrist back and grab her by the neck. "Touch me again and I'll break that damn hand." I say through gritted teeth. She nods her head and tries to hide the fact she's shaking in fear. I use my strength and throw her hard. She flies and her back slams into a car, knocking her unconscious. I hear a loud bang and look in the direction it came from. All the students have ran out or inside the school building, leaving us vampires.
Hunters!!!
I hear a groan and a thud and turn around. Adi had been shot with a wooden bullet just above the heart. She won't die but she's in terrible pain.
"ADILYN!!!!" Athena screams. The hunter starts running at us but I squint my eyes and use telekinesis to throw him back. He falls unconscious the same way Kayla did. I turn back and fall to the ground next to a bleeding Adilyn. Dylan and Julian are thinking of a way to help her seeing as how she could die if we dont get that bullet out carefully. If it goes into her heart she's dead and I will NOT lose my daughter.
Adrians pov:
So Adilyn is her name. Where have I heard that before? It sounds so familiar.
Flashback to before college classes started~
"You two are going to be sent on a mission." Father says to us. "What is it dad?" Zane asks impatient. "My boss is looking for a vampire. Adilyn is her name but that's all we know so far."
Back to the present~
It's her! We've found her. But she's a friend of Coras... I can't do it. I can't give Adilyn over to them.
Well his secret is revealed! I bet most of you were thinking it was going to be Cora he was looking for but NOPE. Hehehehe 🙃 plot twist!! But you gotta admit, the after party with that Kayla hoe was pretty fascinating.
