I don't wanna wake up early for school tomorrow 😢. And it's virtual which means I can stay at my house and I'd much rather sleep but life's life.

'Grief doesn't come from death. It comes from how we feel for that person.'

Coras pov:

"Adilyn?? Adilyn can you hear me?" I call. She stares at the sky like she's lost in space and tears fall down the side of her face from the corner of her eyes. "Adilyn!" I call again. Still no answer. "Guys come on, we need to get her home." Dylan orders. We put Adilyn in Adrians vehicle since we can't have her on the bikes. Athena, Dylan, and Julian take theirs but I ride with Adilyn and we decide to come back for mine and her bikes later. Her life is more important. I stay in the back with her and some of Adrians people help me keep pressure on the wound while I give directions to Adrian and Zane up front.

We arrive at the house moments later and rush her inside. We have a clinic on our 3rd floor in case we ever had emergencies like this. Dylan and Julian are trained in first aid for humans and supernatural creatures. We succeed in getting Adilyn upstairs for D and Juju to for their work. I was standing at the window seeing into the room to make sure she was ok when Adrian came up to me. "How's she doing?" He asks. I can hear panic, worry and... nervousness? Why is he nervous? Just go along with it. "Yeah, Dylan and Julian say she'll be fine." I answer casually. "Good, good. Uh.. can I- can I talk to you privately for a moment?" He asks. He's definitely nervous about something. "Sure." I say softly. We walk over to an empty room and I close the door.

"What's up?" I ask. I fold my arms across my chest and stand with my hip out to the right. "Um so my dad is in business with some high up there person way above our level of security and my brother, my friends and I were assigned a mission. To bring in a vampire." He says still nervous. "Are you asking for my help? Because I will decline. I have vampire friends and take it from someone who was in captivity by the hunters, I will never put another vampire into that position." I tell him. "No that's not it.... the vampire is Adilyn." He informs. "Get the hell out." I say in a cold tone. "Cora please-" he starts. "I SAID GET THE HELL OUT OF MY GODDAMN HOUSE!!!" I yell. The building starts to shake and he takes off, gathering his friends and brother and leaves.

I stand there in the room, alone. I feel empty, I feel used, and I feel stupid. I trusted him and he betrayed me. He used me to get to Adilyn. How could I have been so blind? He was after her all along. The ball, our dance... that all meant nothing. I thought I had found someone who was supportive, kind, and would respect us. But no. He turned out to be a self centered, self caring, disgusting excuse of a man. Sure he was attractive as hell but he's after my daughter. And I will never hand her over to him. I would die before I ever let anyone lay one damn finger on her.

Adrians pov:

"You screwed up man." Mariana says out of the total obvious. "No shit Sherlock!!" Zane raises his voice. "Hey! Don't yell at me Zane. I'm not the one who blew this all over." She fires back. "We all care for them! We can't just take Adilyn and hand her over. We don't even know why they want her, they won't tell us meaning it's something sinister and we aren't those types of people." Zane argues. "QUIET!!" I yell out of frustration. "I know I fucked up Mariana. And no we can't hand her over Zane. But fuck guys. If you aren't going to help me get her back then for fucks sake don't argue." I add.

"We're sorry man. But we need to do something quickly before they leave town." Samuel says. "I have an idea." Dakota speaks up. "I'll host a party, I'm sure they'll come before they leave and we can get them there." He explains. "It's a pretty sneaky plan but what if they don't show up? Let's not forget you were one of the people who attacked Dylan." Cedric points out. "We'll do it. If it doesn't work then we'll follow them." I order. They all get on decorating and all that important stuff. We'll need a hell of a lot of alcohol for this. I'm going to work on invitations and send it through email that way they don't know what I'm doing it instead of Dakota. Now all we do is wait.

Coras pov:

"CORAAAA!!!" Julian yells from downstairs. I practically fly down there thinking someone's being killed only to find all 4 of them alive and well. "What the hell Julian?!" I yell. "Sorry. But you need to see this." He says. He hands me his phone and there's a party invite.... from Dakota. "No. Dakota means Adrian and Adrian betrayed all of us. Let's not ignore the fact all of them were in on it." I say with finality. "Come on Cora. We can go to the party and leave town right after I promise." Dylan begs. "Fine. But tomorrow morning we leave and that's final." I order and head back upstairs to get ready. I'm gonna show that Adrian bitch what he did.

I'm gonna show that Adrian bitch what he did

We hopped in the car and blasted Do Re Mi by Blackbear. Once it got to our favorite part we sang like hell was crashing down.

And this one goes out to the sound
Of breakin glass on my Range Rover
Pay me back, or bitch it's over
All the presents I would send
Fuck my friends behind my shoulder
Next time, Ima stay asleep
I pray the lord my soul to keep, oh

And you got me thinkin lately
Bitch, you crazy
And nothings ever good enough
I wrote a little song for ya
It go like

Do, re, mi, fa, so fuckin done with you, girl
So fuckin done with all the games you play
I ain't no tic-tac-toe
Send the X and O's on another note
I'm do, re, mi, fa, so fuckin done with you, baby
So send the X and O's on another note, I'm ghost

By the time the song was over we had arrive at the address Dakota provided. "Let's go." Adilyn says. I can hear the anger she's trying to hide. Whatever you do Adrian, don't push us tonight.

So I wrote like half of this last night and then finished it when I was done with schoolwork lmao.
