Once we all get settled, we went to bed. We have classes tomorrow. Ugh that means I gotta get up.
I woke up to my stupid ass alarm and chucked it at the wall. I heard the satisfying sound of it crushing into pieces and smiled at my accomplishment. I got up and went to go shower and all that other shit.

I went downstairs and sat at the counter. Dylan is making pancakes for us and then we're going to get Starbucks before we head to campus. After classes we are going straight home and getting ready because they're throwing a ball to welcome all of the students back to campus and freshmen. I wasn't going to go but Athena wants us to for Adilyn. We've never attended colleges, only high schools. We figured we'd try something different. When we were done eating, we got on our motorcycles and drove off.
We arrived on campus and parked our bikes. A bunch of students were looking at us but we didn't seem to care.
"I so did not miss this in high school." Adilyn says making us laugh. We got comfortable and leaned against our bikes and just hung out until school actually started. They sent us an email with our schedules yesterday so no office needed. We were just casually talking when we heard roaring next to us.
"I think my ears are broken." Athena says and rubs her temples with her fingers. "I don't know if you can break your ears Athena." Adilyn giggles. "Yeah Athe, we don't have bones in our ears." Dylan tells her. "You all are idiots, you have 3 small bones in the middle of your ear dumbass." I say to them. We hear footsteps approaching and turn our attention to a group of 8 people, 6 guys and 2 girls, coming toward us.
"Is it wrong I find the guys attractive?" Adilyn asks softly so they don't hear. "Not at all Adi. I find them attractive too." Dylan answers. "Hey!! I thought you we with me." Julian whines. "Will all of you hush? We have bigger issues." I accidentally say out loud. Adilyn hits me in the arm and Athena does the same. Violence is not the ans- shut up yes it is.
"Who are you people?" One of the guys asks. He's definitely the boss. He's an disturbingly sexy man with platinum blonde hair. He has brown eyes with a sharp jawline and is approximately 6'4. Fucking tree.
"I think the question is who the hell are you?" I ask back. "Well seeing as how you 4 have never been seen around here I think we need to get a few things straight." One of the other guys say. He looks somewhat similar to the blonde hobo. He has bubblegum colored hair and dark brown eyes. He's no taller than 6'0 and is probably second in command, who knows. "Why you bringing out the curse words baby girl?" Another guy asks. He looks 5'11, with ash blonde hair and green eyes. He seems very... what's the word im looking for?
"I suggest you lay off of her." Dylan says. For some reason he looks angry. Why are we mad? "Is that a threat?" The same ash blonde head guy asks and tries to get close to Dylan. I use vampire speed to get in front of him and flip him around onto the ground by his arm. "Touch him and I will do way worse than that." I say harshly. I get crazy looks from students and confused looks from these random bastards. Yes I just used one of our powers in front of a crowd of human students. It's not like we can't compel them to forget about this, plus they probably don't even know. In fairy tales, vampires can fly, hang upside down, turn into bats, and are pale. Newsflash human dingbats, we don't do any of those.
We were gonna ditch but decided to go to class anyways. We aren't going to let some jerk jackasses make our first day hell. Not today satan, not today. We were late to first period though and we didn't even care. The teacher didn't notice either. I was laid back with my feet on the desk about to go to sleep on Adilyns shoulder when we heard the door open.
"Ah Mr. King how nice of you to join us." The professor said. I don't even know his name, or I think he told me I just don't remember it. Oh well.
"Yeah yeah." The guy says. He comes over to us followed by 2 of the guys from this morning and one of the girls. "Up." He demands as if I'm his slave. "You're gonna have to make me." I say with a sarcastic smile. "I don't think you understand. When I say something, you do it." He raises his voice. "You don't control us." Dylan says back. "Is that so?" The guy says. One of his friends grabs Dylan by the neck. Shit.
They're vampires.
"Dylan! Let him go!" Athena demands. "I don't think so. You see, if you're going to come onto our campus and challenge us, we're going to send a warning. Dakota." He says and signals something to the guy holding Dylan. Dakota grips Dylan's neck tighter. I grab Dakota and bang his head against the wall, knocking him out. "Adilyn take Dylan and get out of here." I tell her. The boss lunges at me and I flip him around by his arm like I did to his friend earlier. "If you know what's best for you, stay down." I tell him and then I leave and head home.
