Chapter 20- The End

Today's my best friends birthday 🎂 🥳 !! She's 15 now and we've been friends for.... hold up lemme count. 6 years cause we met in 3rd grade and we're freshmen in high school. So yeah 6 years and we've never fought. Only me and Kylie do and we've been friends for 5 years.

Coras pov:

I plan on killing her today. I can't let her take anyone else away from me, I won't. The people in my life are too precious and she's already taken so much. If she wants me, she'll get me. Just not in the exact way she wants. What?

I explained it to my friends and Adilyn. I'm going to surrender in a quiet, people free place and let her take me wherever. Catch her offguard and tear her heart out. She can't tell if I come up from behind, vampire speed is silent. Plus, I have powers too. I'm stronger than her so she doesn't stand a chance against me anyways.

I pull up to the alley she wanted to meet at and see her standing there next to a black vehicle. Adilyn, Athena, Dakota, Zane, and Adrian are hiding in the back of the vehicle in case things take a turn. She doesn't look armed which is good.

"Hi mother." I say with a fake smile as I walk towards her. Her face holds a devious smirk and I approach her carefully. As soon as I'm in reach, she forces me into the car and the driver speeds off. I look up and see that Kian is driving. I feel my heart drop, what will Adrian do? What will Mariana do? That's her brother.

I carefully and slowly take out my phone and turn it on silent before texting and sending a message to the group chat I created.

The peoples group chat~

Cora: guys we have a serious issue!!

Adrian: are you hurt?!

Athena: let her explain bish

Cora: Kian is helping Lisa

Mariana: you're lying. He's right her- WHERE IS KIAN?!

*sends them picture*

Cora: I'm lying???

Mariana: sorry Cora. I just didn't expect this.

Cora: it's fine, figure something out ok? I have to go before I get caught. I'll update when I can but if I don't answer it's because my phones on silent.

Adilyn: ok, be safe 😘 I love you mom

Cora: I love you too baby girl. ♥️

I put my phone away and turn my attention back to the road. We had stopped in front of some old, abandoned church. We went inside and it looked like it hadn't been used in years. It was dusty, the wooden benches were torn apart, the glass windows were shattered, and everything inside were old and rusted. I could make out the faint smell of blood indicating someone brutally died here, or multiple people did. I could tell it was a long while back because the smell was not strong. Out of nowhere my mother threw a wooden dagger that I caught inches away from my heart.

"Damn, just gonna catch me off guard like that?" I ask as I throw the stake to the side. I use my power of teleportation to get right behind her. I then stab her through the back and she dies instantly. Kian comes in before I can hide her body and uses vampire speed to get in front of me. He throws me with strength and I hit the wall. I get back up and run at him as he does the same. When he's in reach, I grab him and flip him around. He hits the floor and grabs a part of the wooden benches in reach. I jump back before he gets me and he throws it. I duck as it passes and grab one myself. He stands up and I stab him in the heart.

I watch as his body falls to the floor and the blood spills from his wound. I take the car keys from his belt loop and text the group chat saying I'm on my way. I look up where I'm at and then how long until I get back to Pittsburgh. My phone map said I was in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, and it'll take 4 and a half hours to get back to Pittsburgh. So I hit the gas and make my way home.

I arrive at the house at the exact time my GPS said I would. The first thing I do when I walk through the door is hug Mariana cause I did just kill her brother. But he almost killed me so it was kinda self defense, technically speaking. Nows not the time for sarcasm. Yeah you're right. Why thank you. You're me so I just said I'm right, hah! Damnit! I win.

It's been a few hours and we've just been watching movies and chilling. Mariana forgave me for killing her brother. Although she said she probably would've done it if I didn't so she thanked me for not making her go through that. Marianas kinda twisted but aye, we love her. Adilyn and I talked about the baby and she's happy. But I know deep down everyone's sad because they can't really have kids. Because we're dead. Still doesn't tell me how I'm pregnant but whatever. Adrian and I are getting married next week, I'm excited. Adilyn is even forcing me to have a bachelorette party. Athena bullies me because I can't drink. But most importantly, I think about what Dylan and Julian would be doing. Having another niece or nephew would bring a smile to their face.

As for little Bandit, he now belongs to Athena. She never lets him out of her sight. She kept Bandits things in Julian and Dylan's room though. Bandit loves being in there. I know they're just kittens, but they feel too. And when they get attached, it hurts them. It hurts all of us. But we aren't going to let that stop us from living our lives. Julian and Dylan wouldn't want that for us so we won't.

10 months later~

Yup, it's been 10 months. Turns out I actually had twins. Adrian and I named the girl Clara, and the little boy Carson. They're beautiful and such a big part of our lives. Adilyn loves them and I think she spends more time with them than we do haha. Adrian and I did get married. Dakota and Athena got together and are somehow expecting the little one. They got engaged about...2 weeks ago? Yeah. Melindas dating Samuel and her brother Cedric is dating Mariana. Things go everywhere with this family. Zane and Adilyn are together too and are expecting as well. I guess vampires can have kids, don't know. Word eventually got out and vampires all over the world have been trying to get happiness to this dreadful life.

As for my dad, Julian and Dylan- well I visit my dads grave every morning and I go to the pond every night. Sometimes I bring the kids, and even Bandit. The kittens have grown tremendously and are amazing. Bandit still runs all over the place and even tries to fight with the other kittens. It's a playful thing though. Biscuit loves attention and she's always going around to find someone to cuddle. As for Kitty, she loves playing with the babies. Every time we sit the kids down to play with their toys, she goes up and plays with them. She also likes to get in their crib and sleep with them during nap time. It's truly adorable.

Our little group of friends grew into a real family and we couldn't be happier. We have love, support, comfort, everything a family should have. And most of all:

We have each other.

This is the end, my loves. But it is not the end and last of me. I'm starting a new book called I Fell in Love with a Vampire. Yes it is yet another supernatural book. I'm not giving out any spoilers tho 😉. Don't hate me too much? If you like this book, you can surely read my others.
