Under Water (4.3)

(Harry POV)

The next week none of us talked about our kiss. I just assumed it was more of a friendly gesture than anything serious. But i couldn't figure out how to open the egg without being deaf for the next 2 minutes.

I was walking down the hall with y/n when Cedric ran up to us. He smiled at y/n and then turned to me. "Harry."

I turned my attention to him.

"Thanks again for giving me a heads up about the dragons."

"You would have done the same."

"Exactly, Um you know the Head boys washroom on the 5th floor?"

I nodded at him

He leaned in and said "Its not a bad place for a bath. Just take your egg and think it over."

He once again smiled at y/n and walked away.

"I think he just gave you a clue." Y/n said to me as we kept walking.

"I think he did to. Care to join me later?"

Y/n blushed.

"NO NO not like that i just meant-"

"I know i know." She smiled and agreed.

We all met in the great hall and Professor McGonagall explained about the yule ball. Everyone was pretty excited about it.

After class i grabbed my egg and we walked up to the washroom.

"I forgot a swimsuit." Y/n said.

"Uh- i mean you could just get in with your under garments." I said

"Or or you dont have to get in."

She smiled at me and turned around.

I took of my shirt and climbed into the bath.

She hurried and climbed in across from me. We both then heard a familiar moan.

We looked up and saw moaning myrtle across the bath.

Y/n Gasped at the sight of her and blushed.

"Myrtle, What are you doing."

"I see you brought your egg." she said ignoring my question.

"Uh yea. I think i'm supposed to open it under the water."

"It took the handsome boy a lot longer to figure that out." Myrtle said talking about Cedric i assumed. And like that she left.

"I uh- think you have be closer to hear it." I said. She blushed and sat down next to me.

"Ready?" i asked y/n

She smiled and went under the water.

"We can not sing above the ground, An hour long to look around, to recover what we took. lest what you seek stays here to rot."

When we came back up i looked at y/n to see if she understood.

"Well there talking about The lake." She said

"I think it may be about mer- people."

It made sense. We climbed out of the water and dried off throwing our clothes back on. and we ran out to go find Ron and Hermonie. They were walking out of the common room.

"What did you two do?" Ron said laughing

We looked at each other and realized our hair was dripping wet.
