Chapter 5

Andy had already spent 3 days at home and was very bored;  so today she decided to invite Maya to talk to her about everything that was going on.
M: how do you feel?
A: limping
M: how did you get hurt?
A: I fell.  Maya can I talk to you about something?
M: of course you know you can tell me everything
A: ok, but everything I will tell you must not leave this room
M: promised
A: I think I have feelings for Robert ...
M: oh ... ah ... I ... I don't know what to say.  Why do you think so?
A: the other day, after the excursion;  she took me home and stayed until I fell asleep.  Before leaving he gave me a kiss on the forehead;  that kiss made me get butterflies in my stomach made me feel things I didn't even feel with Ryan

At the station

Robert: hey Luke
Ripley: How are you doing here at 19?
Robert: I miss two people from shift A;  Herrera is at home because she hurt her ankle and an hour ago I had to send Hughes home because she had the flu
Ri: Does Hughes have the flu?
Ro: yes
Ri: Is your plan to get Herrera to your side working?
Ro: too much ... I fell in love with her
Ri: you're screwed, you're a superior of her you know the rules
Ro: Don't talk to me about rules, you dating Hughes
Ri: How do you know about me and Vic?
Ro: I saw how you looked at her at Andy's awards ceremony and your concern when I told you she's sick
Ri: you won't report to her, will you?
Ro: I won't report to you if you don't report to me and Andy
Ri: are you going to go to the next step with her?
Ro: I would like.  I feel things with her that I didn't even feel with Claire
Ri: just know that if you hurt her I'll be on her side
Ro: I'm not going to hurt her
Ri: forewarned is forearmed
Ro: Same goes for Hughes if you hurt her I'm on his side

2 months later
Andy had gone back to work and had kept her feelings under wraps, even Robert had done the same.  Robert was the only one who knew of Vic and Ripley's relationship;  until that day.
The whole team was sitting in the kitchen when Vic and Ripley walked in
Good morning boss.  The whole team immediately said
Ripley: Good morning 19
Vic: good morning guys
Ripley: Hughes and I have an announcement to make
Vic: We're getting married in 4 weeks and you're all invited
There was an instant of shock from everyone except Robert because he already knew everything;  after having complimented the future spouses they went back to their own affairs.  Andy had just returned from a call when Robert called her into his office
A: so Vic and Ripley get married
R: Yeah ... about this I wanted to ask you something
A: ask as well
R: Do you want to be my plus 1?  As a friend I thought that since I don't have an escort and neither could you ...
A: I hadn't decided what to do yet but it's okay for me to go there as friends
R: well, go wash now, no offense but you smell a bit
A: oh sorry if a child after peeing on me decided to throw up on me too
Robert burst out laughing after hearing Andy's story about the call he had just had
A: do not laugh;  stop laughing right away, it's not funny
R: sorry
Andy left the office and went to wash; while she was in the shower she thought only of Robert.  Was she really okay with going to the wedding with him?  Would she have done something stupid?
