knock knock
"Y/n, your back, come in." Mikoto-san said
"So how did everything go?" She asked walking towards the table to sit down.
"It went fine." I said with a smile
"Right, so, what happened?" She said while sighing
"pussh, I don't know what you're talking about." I said while looking away
"Y/n don't lie to me, I have known you since you were five years old, and one thing a picked up is that you suck at lying." She said
"Right, you caught me." I said putting my hands up "Ugh where do I even start."
"Let me guess it has something to do with kakashi?" She said while smirking
"Ugh, yes it does." I said now placing my head on the table. I then hear the chair move and then feel someone sitting next to me.
"You two are a mess." She said while laughing "I'm sure it wasn't that bad." She said while placing her hand on my back.
"It was though and I feel really bad. Why do I do the things I do!" I said mumbling into the table
"Well you know what will make you feel better?" She said
"What?" I said
"Well, I made your favorite desert today." She said
"WAIT REALLY!?" I said picking my head up off the table, which she only laughed
"Your going to have to wait till after dinner." She said now standing
"wait why? Can't I just have like a little?" I whined
"No, it's going to spoil your appetite." She said sternly
"well, ok fine, I guess I can wait." I said bored
I then hear the front door swing open.
"Neechan, your back!" I heard sasuke yell bolting into the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'm back, how was your day?" I asked
"It was great! me and Nii-san went to the training grounds!" He said happily
"Haha, that's great, did you learn anything?" I asked
"No, Itachi, wouldn't let me throw any kunai." He said pouting
"Maybe another time sasuke." Itachi said now entering the Kitchen.
I then look over to Itachi and points towards the other room.
I get up and follow him.
"So, what did the Hokage want?" I asked sitting next to Itachi
"He asked me to join Anbu and I excepted." He said
"I'm guessing you already talked to Fugaku-san already?" I asked and he nodded
'The only reason Itachi is going into the Anbu, is to be a spy for the Uchiha.' I thought
"Don't worry Nee-chan, It will be ok." Itachi said while smiling
"Right, It's not that I'm worried about you getting hurt, it's j-"
"It's ok, I know." He said while sighing
"Anyway what unit are you getting placed under?" I asked
'please, please be in my group.' I pleadingly thought
"I was told I would be in assassination under Team Ro." Itachi said
'great' I thought sadly
"Is there something wrong with that group?" He asked
"No, there's nothing wrong, I'm just mad you weren't on my team is all." I said laughing
"Kakashi's in that group, isn't he." Itachi said while sighing
'Damn, am I that easy to read?" I thought
"Itachi, Y/n, dinner is ready!" Mikoto-san shouted
I then stood up and began walking into the dinning room and sit down. Itachi then walks over and sits next to me and sasuke sits across from both of us.
"Hey, Mikoto-san?" I said calling her attention and she hums "Where's Fugaku-san? He's usually home by now." I asked and then took I sip of my drink.
"Fugaku, is at a council meeting right now, it must be running late." Mikoto-san replied and I nodded
After we finished eating, I helped Mikoto-san clean up the table.
"You know Y/n I have been thinking, about that night. How have you been doing recently?" She asked with concern.
I then paused and turned toward Mikoto-san.
"To be honest, I'm not sure how to feel, it just feels like one big blur. I miss them, I also, miss the times that we used to spend together as Team 7, and I also, miss hanging out with." I then stop and paused, I looked over at Mikoto-san who was now smirking at my last comment, but, then quickly faded.
"W-what?" I asked
"Oh nothing, but, Y/n, you shouldn't blame yourself." She said
"I know, everyone keeps telling me that, but, I can't help it." I said
"what I'm I going to do with you?" Mikoto-san sighed
"Anyway, when are you and Kakashi, going to make up?" She asked while putting her hand on her hip
"Mikoto-san!!" I shouted while blushing slightly
