Timeskip one week

Your Pov 

Today was saturday and I decided to talk with the enemy. I need to become strong and figure out how to control this curse mark. So, I somehow came in contact with one of Orochimaru's spies, I gave them a message. A few days later I received word from Orochimaru to meet outside the border of the rain village.

'ugh, this is going to be a long day.' I thought. (a/n: The trip itself takes around 18 hours).

I then began to pack me bags for the trip.

knock, knock

I then walked out of my room and into the living room to answer the door.

I looked through the peephole and saw Kakashi leaning against a beam. I opened the door and welcomed him in.

"Hey Kakashi, how have you been?" I asked and he shrugged

"Just bored and wanted to come see you." He said walking over towards me and gave me a kiss.

"Well, I appreciate the visit but, I'm going to be handing out." I said and Kakashi tilted his head in confusion.

"huh? Where are you going and for how long?" Kakashi asked

I then paused 'damn why don't I think these things out!' I thought while trying to come up with a reasonable lie.

"I have to deliver some supplies..." I said and Kakashi just looked at me

"You know what, I'm just going to tell you the truth this time and you're just going to have to deal with it." I said

"Ok? Should I be scared?" Kakashi said nervously laughing and I shrugged

"You're the only person I'm telling so, I'm trusting you not to tell anyone." I said in a serious tone

"Do you still not trust me after all these years? I'm hurt." Kakashi said dramatically

I then just rubbed my face and looked at him.

"Alright, ok, I won't say anything." Kakashi said

"Ok, so about a week ago I received a letter from Orochimaru and-"

"Wait, Orochimaru?" Kakashi said now, beginning to raise his voice.

"Yes, the letter said that he wanted to meet and help me control my curse mark. So, after some current events that happened recently, I decided to reach out." I said. I then looked at Kakashi who was now pissed.

"Y/n..." He said in a low warning voice

"Yeah, yeah. I know. 'Y/n, why did you contact Orochimaru, Do you even remember what he did?'" I said mimicking Kakashi.

"Kakashi, I'm not doing this because I wanted to, but, I need to become stronger, to protect the people I care about." I said

"You don't need to become stronger! You are already the strongest kunoichi, I know." Kakashi shouted.

"Thanks. But, I'm not changing my mind." I said while walking into my room.

"Y/n, don't leave." Kakashi said and I turned around and squeezed his nose.

"I'll be fine. I'll come back, don't worry." I said and then grabbed my bag.

"If not for me, then what about Sasuke?" Kakashi asked

"Sasuke, knows I'm leaving but, I told him I'm going on a mission." I said continuing towards the door.

"Then-"

"Kakashi, listen, The Hokage knows I'm going on a 'mission'. So there's no need to worry about me getting caught. I promise to write to you if anything bad happens, ok?" I said walking towards Kakashi and gave him a hug.

"Kakashi, promise me you'll watch over Sasuke while I'm away." I asked and he nodded

I then looked up at him and pulled down his mask and gave him a kiss. After that I then walked back to the door and opened it.

"Oh, and Y/n?" Kakashi said

"Yeah?" I asked while looking over my shoulder.

"Don't do anything stupid." He said laughing slightly

"Hey! that's my line." I said and then shook my head

"Fine. I promise." I said and then walked out the door and Kakashi followed.

I then waved goodbye and walked toward the front gates.

'I made a promise and I'm going to keep it.' I thought.
