Your Pov
"Y/n, quit messing with your hair." Mikoto-san said adjusting your bun and hair clip
"Sorry..." I said pouting
"I don't know what you're apologizing for...Y/n, don't be so nervous, go have fun and enjoy yourself." she said
"I can't help it..." I said puffing out my cheeks and Mikoto-san just shook her head.
"Itachi where are you going?" Mikoto-san asked
"Just going for a walk." He replied and then looked at me and gave me a thumb up.
"Alright, don't be out late, why don't you go check out the festival, I heard Izumi will be there." Mikoto-san said
"Yeah, see ya." Itachi said leaving and we both laughed.
"Hey Nee-chan?" Sasuke said walking into the living room
"What's up?" I asked crouching down slightly
"Can I come with you?" he asked giving me puppy dog eyes
"Not today Sasuke, she can take you out another day." Mikoto-san said
"awww" Sasuke pouted
"I promise we'll hangout, ok?" I said while rubbing his head
"ok" He said
I then hear a knock at the front door.
"I'll get it!" sasuke shouted running over and opened it, but, then quickly shut it.
"Who was there?" I said
"Just some old dude." he said snickering
"Sasuke, don't be rude!" Mikoto-san shouted while walking to the door and opened it to reveal Kakashi.
"Sorry about that..." She said and Kakashi just shrugged. I then walked over and stood in front of Kakashi.
Kakashi was wearing a dark grey kimono and a black mask. Mikoto-san then pushed my out the door and said "Have fun and don't stay up late!" Kakashi and I both nodded and began walking into town.
"You look nice." He said and smiled
"Thanks. You too." I smiled
silence
'gosh this is so awkward.'
"so what do you want to do first?" Kakashi asked
"Hmm..." I then looked over and and saw the different stands.
"Let's go get Taiyaki!" I said grabbing Kakashi hand and pulling him along
"Why are you always so hungry?" he asked
"Uh, I don't know, I mean I'm not super hungry but, the taiyaki is looking real good right now."
"Right."
"Hello what can I get you two?" The seller said
I then look at Kakashi and quickly asks if he wants anything and he just shook his head.
"One taiyaki please!" I said
"That will be $1.75 " he said and I gave him the money. I took the taiyaki and took a bite.
"mmm, this is so good!" I said and Kakashi just sighed
"Wow, what's that?" I said acting like a child in a toy store and Kakashi just laughed. He grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the game stand.
"Hey, you two, do you want to play a game of darts?" The game host said and we both nodded
Kakashi then paid for the game and began throwing the darts. Kakashi won easily and got the biggest prize there. He won a ( your favorite animal).
"here." he said proudly and I took it.
"Wow, that was a close game I didn't think you were going to win." I said sarcastically
"Really." Kakashi said annoyed and I laughed
"Hey Y/n, I was-"
"YO! KAKASHI MY ETERNAL RIVAL!" Guy shouted
'oh boy, here we go.' I thought
"Guy." Kakashi said annoyed
"Wow, Kakashi, who the pretty lady?" he said
"Guy are you serious." I said annoyed
"Y/n?! that's you. You looking very youthful today. Your beauty is like a flower and-"
"Guy." Kakashi said know pissed
"Thanks, Guy." I said nervously
"Alright, I'm leaving, I still have 500 laps around the leaf village to do." Guy said waving goodbye
Kakashi then pulled me away from the town. We began walking through the woods.
"So? where are we going?" I asked confused
"Just wait you'll see." He said in a happy tone
2 minutes later we come out of the woods and I see an open field. Kakashi then pulls me into the center of the field and stops. I then hear a firework go off and I look up to see a bunch of colored fireworks going off in the sky. Some of them were the hokages faces and some were symbols.
"Wow, it's so pretty!" I shouted and Kakashi nodded. I then feel Kakashi take hold of my right hand and I turn towards him, noticing that I can see the different shades of color from the fireworks bouncing of his face.
"Y/n..." Kakashi said looking at me
"Yeah?" I said in a quiet voice
"I've been meaning to tell you something, for awhile know... and I.." Kakashi said taking a deep breathe trying to calm his nerves. I then squeeze his hand and he then looks back at me and blushes.
"I like you Y/n." He said
"Well, I like you to." I said confused
"No, I mean, I really like you." He said and then it hit me and I started blushing like crazy
"Omg." Was the first word that came out of my mouth.
"Oh, I get it, it's fine..." Kakashi said letting go of my hand and backed away slightly, now depressed.
"No, Kakashi, that's not what I meant. I j-just was shocked." I said walking towards Kakashi and held his hand.
"Kakashi, I really like you to." I said blushing
"Wait, really?" Kakashi said in disbelief and I nodded.
He then hugged me and I hugged back. I then notice a figure walking through the woods.
"Hey, Kakashi?" I asked slowly letting him go
"Yeah?"
"Do you see the figure?" I ask and he nods
'who is that?' I thought. As another firework goes off the figure becomes visible.
"Itachi?" I say concerned.
I then run towards him and shout "Hey Itachi!"
He then looks at me and his eyes were puffy.
"Itachi what happened?" I asked placing my hand on his shoulder.
"Its Shisui..." he said in a low voice
"huh?" I said
"He's dead." Itachi said
