Your Pov
Big news everyone my cousin Tsunade came home today. 'yay' I thought sarcastically pumping my fist into the air. Now you may be thinking 'why are you so upset that your only family came to visit you?' But I'm going to stop you right there! Last time I saw her was when I was five years old and it didn't go amazing.
Tsunade is a bad influence on me, one time she took me gambling because I was the "cute appeal" or something like that. The quote and quote "cute appeal" did not work all the time. After we walked back home and talked. After that she hugged me goodbye and left.
So here we are 12 years later...
"Hello, Y/n. How have you been?" Tsunade asked
"Just peachy." I said annoyed.
Tsunade then just started walking around my house looking at the frames that hung around my living room.
"You sure have grown a lot since I last saw you." She said placing a frame of my old team back on the wall.
"Tsunade, why are you here?" I asked suspiciously
"Can't I come see my adorable little cousin once and awhile?" She said smiling
I just gave her a look that said it all. Which Tsunade sighed at this.
"You caught me!" She said putting her hands up "But, why don't we go out and about?" She said trying to dodge the subject.
"Fine." I said walking towards the door to put my sandals on. Once we both put on our sandals we both began to walk into town.
"So where are we going?" I asked
"Getting something to eat of course!" She said marching ahead.
'I really thought we were going to go gambling.' I mentally sighed
I followed her into a restaurant that I didn't know. She then talked to the hostess for a moment. The Hostess then said "of course right away Tsunade-sama."
We followed the hostess back into a seperate room away from the surrounding customers. The room was very large, it had on large open window that showed a portion of the leaf village. The walls were an off-white and in the middle of the room was a large table with cushioned seats. Once we got to the table we both sat down. the waiter gave us our menus, and left.
"So what's the occasion?" I ask placing my head on my hand.
"hmm? Well. I wanted to spend time with you and chat about somethings." She said vaguely.
I looked at Tsunade and I notice she was looking at my covered right arm but, then quickly looked back down at the menu.
I looked at the menu nervously. The waiter came back and asked us if we wanted anything to drink.
"One bottle of sake." She said and the waiter looked nervous but, then looked over at me and I said "water with lemon." and she nodded. The waiter quickly came back and placed one glass carafe (which is a sake glass). in front of Tsunade and a medium tall glass in front of me, filling it up with water.
"Do you still need time with the menus?" She asked and I nodded and she left.
"I was thinking of getting Katsudon?" Tsunade said and I nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds good." I said 'to be honest anything sounds good, I'm starving!' I thought as my stomach gurgled.
The waiter came back 5 minutes later and took our orders, took our menus, and then went towards the kitchen.
"So, tell me about your arm." Tsunade said getting straight to the point.
'Ha, I knew it' I thought. I took a quick sip of my water and then began to talk.
"So, what do you already know?" I ask and she sighed
"right, I received word for the Third that you apparently wanted to steal a sealing scroll that was connected to Orochimaru?" She said looking at me for conformation and I nodded.
"Right, he also, told me that you encountered Orochimaru and received some sort of curse mark?" She said and I nodded
"How can you be so stupid Y/n?!" she said raising her voice "Why didn't you come to me sooner?" she said while placing her hand on the table.
'here we go' I thought
"hmm, well I dunno, I didn't think that you cared!" I said annoyed
"What is that supposed to mean? Of course I care about you! You're the only family I have left!" She said
"Then where were you, when I needed someone? After all my friends died and my sensei?" I said trying to hold my tears
"Y/n..." She said in a low concerned voice
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, when I heard about the news it was to late, I didn't know what to do. I didn't think you wanted to see me." She said
"Well, I did. You're my the only family I have left." I said wiping away the stray tears.
She then got up and sat down next to me. She then pulled me into a hug and kept saying sorry.
"It's fine." A mumbled into her shoulder and she sighed
"Y/n, you're clearly not fine, and that's ok. But, I want you to trust me and confide in me." She said looking at me.
"r-right, thanks Tsunade, I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." I said and she just smiled and said "it's fine"
We both moved apart when we heard the door swing open.
"d-did I come at a wrong time?" The waiter said holding our meals.
Tsunade and I just shook our heads and laughed. The waiter just looked at us with confusion but, didn't say anything.
We both thanked her for the meal and dug in.
