"I can't say I know what's gotten into you Mr.lupin." The old women said as she sat down at her desk. She looked at the boy before her, the same boy who was just a scared little thing 4 years before, what had happened?  His hands where bloody, and his face red. "Why did you hurt that boy?"

She asked, "I don't know" He lied. "Remus, I need to know what happened." She had comforting tone in her voice. The tall boy sighed and sat down across from her. "Well there's this girl that I fancy" He started, "And one of my friends kissed  her and he knows that I like her and so that was a whole thing and I- I guess I was just angry."

Saying it out loud, he thought  it sounded  stupid. "Well, I understand where your anger was coming from but it is never okay to harm another student. If you don't mind me asking what made you want to hurt Mr.Crouch?" She looked at him with a curious face. "He made a 'joke' about my lycanthropy and I just  I couldn't take it I guess."

Remus lifted his sleeve to his eye and wiped a tear quickly before it could fully run down his face. "I'm sorry to hear about that dear. How does he know?" "I don't know." He did know but he wasn't going to snitch on anyone, it was easier to get revenge that way.

"Well I will have to have a talk with Mr.Crouch but I can assure you  know one else will find out about  about your ' lycanthropy'. But I will still have to give you detention, I'm sure you understand." He looked at him with a pity look, he didn't like it. "Yeah, I get it." He was angry again, not at Crouch or McGonagall not even Sirius.

He was angry at himself for falling for Elizabeth in the first place. He wasn't supposed to fall for her. She was his friend. So why did he? He knew it wouldn't end well.

Yet he still fell. Why? Was it her smile? Or her laugh? Was it the way her body moved when she danced?

Was it the way her hand felt in his? Was it the way she held him when he cried? What was is that made her so irresistible. Surely she didn't feel the same way. Why would she, what have I got to offer?

He thought to himself as he left McGonagall's officeAs the curly haired boy was making his way back to the dorm he ran into her. "Oh hi Remus" She said looking up at him, "Hi" he mumbled back under his breath. "What's wrong? And what happened to your hands?"

He wanted to tell her, but he didn't. He was to angry to answer, "It's nothing." He said back, he could hear the way he sounded, bitter. "Are you mad at me?"  She questioned him, backing up slightly. "No Elizabeth. I'm not mad at you. Could you just get out of my way?"

He didn't like the way he was acting towards her but he couldn't stop, it was almost fun.  "No. Remus John Lupin You are  going to tell me what happened. Right now." She was determined for an answer.

He felt a flutter in his stomach, his name rolled off her tongue with such ease."Elizabeth. Move." He tried to get past her, but she moved in front of him again. "Tell me." "Not here Liz, maybe later, somewhere more private."

He looked at the ceiling to avoid her eyes, which where burning into him. "Fine. You want to talk somewhere more private?" She gabbed his hand and pulled him into the bathroom, locking the door and casting a silencing spell. She walked around making sure no one else was in the room, it was empty. "Okay we're 'somewhere private' so you have to tell me now."

He stared at her without saying anything for a few seconds, she stared back. "Well are you gonna tell me or not?" He sighed and walked over to the sink, "What are you doing?" She asked, "I'm washing my hands. What does it look like i'm doing."

He spat at her. "Hey don't get cross with me you git." He finished washing his hands, and the two of them sat  with their backs against the door. "So, tell me." He sighed once more before he started, he told her about his lycanthropy, and what happened with Barty.

He never told her exactly why he was so mad at Sirius, just that it made him upset because he thought if Sirius and Elizabeth got together it would 'ruin the group', which was partly true. She reassured him that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with Sirius in that way.  And she was more than okay about him being a werewolf. It set him at ease knowing she didn't think any different of him. She wasn't even mad that he kept it a secret.

"So that's how you got the scars than?" She looked over at him, "Yeah, because I'm locked up the wolf get's angry, I think. And I scratch myself."She hugged him, tighter than anyone has ever hugged him before.

He thought about kissing her but decided not to, instead he wrapped an arm around her. After a few minutes she brung her head up resting it on his shoulder, "Sorry, I got a little 'emotional' I just- it sucks you have to deal with that." "Yeah, it does. Sirius says my scars are 'beautiful', if I'm being honest, I don't think that's true, I wish I didn't have them, I think I would look better without'em."  Remus smiled weakly.

"We all have scars Remus, s'nothing to be ashamed of." She smiled back, "You have scars than?" He asked, "More on the inside than the outside." She chuckled. He didn't ask her anymore questions, and they left the bathroom soon after that.

He thought about what she said "We all have scars." He racked his brain trying to figure out if there was some type of hidden meaning behind it, he couldn't think of anything. He was still mad at Sirius that night when he went to sleep, he decided he would talk to him in the morning about setting boundaries. Maybe that would make it  easier, for everyone, he was tired of being mad.
