Chapter 33

My alarm wakes me from my slumber, I pick up my phone slowly and realise that it's Wednesday. Today is the first lesson we would have with Taehyung and Yoongi. Slight excitement started bubbling up inside me as I rolled out of bed to get ready. Obviously I would have school first which is such a pain, but hey, need that education amiright?

Anyway, I just pulled on a pair of leggings with a hoodie for today, I jus can't be asked.

I was waiting for Kacey when I got a text from a number I wasn't expecting, Jason?

I read the text curiously but he just wanted to hang out as I didn't really contact him since my birthday night. I flush with slight embarrassment as I hadn't given him a reason, quite frankly I had forgotten about him.. in the nicest way.

I clicked my phone off as Kacey pulled up with her car with Charli sat next to her.

"Jump in wolf girl" Kacey beams

"Stop you can't say stuff like that" I hushed her as I got in the middle back seat

"As if anyone heard that, no one's here relax baby" Kacey says stepping on the gas.

The whole day, I've been feeling a slight uncomfortable feeling all over my body, I was on edge. My body was alert, I wasn't sure why.
I searched around me wondering what could be triggering my body in this way, but I never found anything.

I spotted Jason coming out of a classroom and walked up to him, clearly startling him.

"Oh hey Harper!" He recollected himself almost instantly leaving me wondering if I imagined it.
"Hey! I was wondering if you still wanna meet sometime?" I was eager to know why he suddenly wanted to spend time with me.
"Oh yeah! Um how about today after school?"
"Sorry, I have plans" I look at him with an apologetic expression. "How about at 5 today? At the new cafe that opened up?" I continued. "Yeah that sounds good to me, see you!" He waved and walks away from me as I watched him.

"You ready to go?" Charlotte comes out of no where, I nod and we leave for the boys house.

We knocked on the door with Yoongi answering it, he lets us in and we all flip down on the couch; tired from the long day.

"I know you're tired and all, but we need to get started soon. In 5 minutes go change into more.. athletic clothes so you can move around freely." Yoongi says as he turns on his heels and leaves the room.

I nod and before a minute can go past, Charlotte is dragging both Kacey and I to her bedroom to get changed, Kacey and I groan but grab our clothes from our own rooms on the way. We all change into more comfortable and free clothes and make our way to the main living room.

"We're ready.. I think" Kacey yawns in exhaustion.

"Great!" Taehyung claps his hands together before giving us his gleaming boxy smile that slightly restores some enthusiasm into us. But yoongis yawn sets us back to how we were before.

I followed behind Kacey as she followed Taehyung out the house and towards a building that looked slightly like a barn but less farm-like, so I guess just a house-

Yoongi closed the door behind Charlotte and the interior space looked bigger on the inside than the outside.
Taehyung answered as if reading my mind, "This building is magic, on the inside it's bigger but on the outside it looks like a normal-sized building to not draw too much attention" He says stretching.

The building had quite literally had most of, if not all, the weaponry I knew of. My eyes darted around the room trying to take in all the different weapons placed neatly in there respective places, sectioned into different areas with weapons alike. The building had mostly black decorations, it looked expensive.

"Hmmm where to start first" Yoongi says looking around at every section.

"Anything, literally anything. C'mon Yoongi, I'm ready to be a baddie!" Kacey says pushing out her chest making Charli and I laugh in amusement.

"Alright, let's start with bow and arrows." We all followed Yoongi to a section where bows and arrows were all placed. Different bow sizes, shapes and types. Some where more luxuries while others looked more plain or more portable. The arrows where just as unique, they all had labels, my eyes scanned them all and I saw some were poisonous, some would put you to sleep, numb you, slow you.

"Wow this is a whole Minecraft selection of arrows" Charli looks in awe. "Right though? Who knew, we're playing Minecraft in real life" I giggled.

I searched for the bow that I liked most, which was a normal looking one, made up of dark wood. I picked it up, surprised by how light and soft it actually was, I started to take in the details on it. Around the area which I would place my hand was black and it would fade into a fire-like pattern away from my hand with a dark grey outline to encourage the fire to stand out, the bow had a certain glow and sturdiness about it.
As for arrows, Yoongi didn't let us anywhere near the special ones that I saw earlier. He thought it was best to keep to normal arrows for the time being until we're more comfortable with using the bow and arrows efficiently. Wouldn't want to poison one of us now would we?

"Right" Yoongi clapped his hands together pulling me out my trance. "Follow me, I'll take you to the shooting range. When you can do the basics we'll move outside where you'll have moving targets, obviously not real people but kind of like that one Disney movie. But for now we need to teach you the basics" He halts, we look to our right and see what we're in for.

I turned to face Taehyung, he had the most mischievous smile on his face. Okay maybe I was a little too excited for today, but all that's gone now and replaced with anxiety.
