Chapter 12

"Okay so, I was out with a friend and my phone died.. I decided to stay at their house but I forgot to plug my phone in so it could charge. The next day we went out and when we came back I then put my phone on charge and when it turned on I got all your missed calls and messages. But cuz Kaceys was on top I texted her first. Then she texted you and here we are. I'm alive-" I got cut off by a sneeze.. Jungkook's sneeze

Kacey slaps her face.. so close

"Harper.. who was that?" My mum says in a horrifyingly calm voice

"Er, no one! That was Kacey.. I'm not sure what's wrong with her. But I'm taking her to the doctors now-"

"Harper, show me who is in that room with you" my mum ignores me yet again

I gulp and slowly turn my phone.. all the other boys leg it to the other side of the room falling and tripping over furniture making me and Kacey give out quiet giggles. They made it, as they weren't visible in the FaceTime call. Jungkook awkwardly looks around at the boys for help but they all give a sorry look back. Before he could do anything the camera lands on him

"Young man, please come closer" my dad says putting his glasses, when he can see clearly without them, he just does it for dramatic effects making me roll my eyes.

Jungkook slowly nudges towards me

"Hello~" He says in a innocent voice even though he is anything but innocent

Kacey mouths 'don't fuck up' to him and he gives a slight nod

"Oh hello boy, what's your name?" My mum asks smiling

"I'm Jungkook! Nice to meet you" He gives his bunny smile making me and my parents melt

"Hello Jungkook! Are you related to Harper's friend?" My dad asks

"Oh, hm yeah I am! I'm her brother" he says coolly

"You're very handsome! You and my daughter would be adorable together!" My mum squeals

"Mum stop!" I blush

"What dear? Jungkook what do you think of my daughter?" My mum ignores my wholes existence

"MUM!" I face plant.. she ignores me

"Well.. she's nice and gorgeous"

Bitch what? You think my potato ass is gorgeous? Hah

His words made my heart skip a beat.. he liked potatoes. Fucking eXpOsEd his ass.

"Oh I know she is! She's such an angel. That's why I know our girl would never spend a night at a boys house without us knowing" my mum says happily

Yeah I would never stay at one boys house, I would stay in a house with several boys in it.

"Yeah see mum? Everything's fine, I'm fine. I'll be back before Monday obviously. Wouldn't want to miss school" I give an awkward laugh

"Oh of course not! Well okay then, see you soon then darling! Bye Jungkook and Kacey!" My mum waves

"Bye Mrs. Grey" Jungkook smiles

"Oh please call me Maria.. Mrs.Grey makes me feel old" she replies and gets a nod and a smile back from Jungkook

"Bye Maria! I'll bring her home when I leave" Kacey says waving and smiling

"Okay thank you! See you both soon then" she gives one more smile before hanging up the phone

Eveyone collapses with a sigh as eveything went to according to plan.. kinda. A few things changed but she still believed us anyway.

"Good job everyone.. we can now finally chill!" Kacey says now clearly getting along with everyone

"Thank god, your parents are scary" Jimin says walking back to his seat next to me before laying back and taking a deep breath

"Tell me about it, they are nice when they want to though"

"Mhm noted" Jimin replies before closing his eyes

"But it was hilarious when you fell over the couch!" We all burst out laughing

"Hey! I didn't know it was there!" Jimin sits up defensively

"How'd you miss a large couch?" Hoseok gives him a weird look

"I don't know.." he says looking down

"Thanks Jungkook for being the brother of my invisible friend" I turn to him trying to ignore the butterflies still in my stomach from what he said before to my parents.

How sad does that sound?

"No problem" is all he says before getting up and leaving the room. Leaving us all confused while we look at eachother one by one before shrugging it off and just laying there for a while to recover from the stress my parents caused for all of us.

"Well I have to get going soon so what do you guys wanna do?" I hit my lap to catch everyone's attention

"Erm" Hoseok says while deep in thought just like everyone else

"We could cook some food or cake?" Taehyung says excitement visible in his eyes

"Yes! I agree-" I clap my hands

"No! Over my dead body are all of you lot making cake! This whole house is going to burn down!" Jin complains

"But it's for Harper's sake! And Kaceys now! They're leaving today.. let's end it with a cake.. pleaseeee" Jimin says with pleading eyes

Then all of us gave Jin our best puppy eyes

"Fine.. but mark my words, this won't end well" Jin huffs and crosses his arms in defeat. While we all cheer and start deciding what kind of cake to make.

"I think we should make a chocolate cake.. NO VANILLA! I haven't had vanilla in agess!" Namjoon starts to drool

"Vanilla cake it is then!" I say tying an apron around myself

"No no! I'm doing the baking! I don't want you to burn your hands off." Jin says taking my apron off and tying it around him self

"Aww thanks Jinnie" I cooed kissing his cheek

"Yeah yeah whatever" he smiles and turns away from me to turn the oven on

I spin around and walk into Jimin who had the flour in his hands making both of us fall down and the flour spraying everywhere

We both look around and everywhere is white. Jin tries to stay calm and turns away hoping we clean up this mess. All of us including Jin start laughing and Jimin and I start to clean up the mess we made

Jimin turns his head slightly upwards to look at my face

"I have a feeling this is going to be a long baking session, with a lot of scolding from Jin hyung" he giggles

"Yeah! I have a feeling too.. but I lowkey wanna see him a bit mad" I laugh

"Then today you will-" Jimin says

"Less talking and more cleaning you guys!" Kacey snaps

"Oh my god that's the first person that has ever said that!" Jin turns around shocked

"I think I found the love of my life!" He says dramatically

A low growl erupts from Taehyung. But only Jimin, Jin and I hear it
