My mate

Chapter 18

"Let's go" I say after I have her legs and arms securely wrapped around my waist, and arms around my neck. Her head was placed on my shoulder and she was gently breathing. Which was calming me down.

Namjoon and Yoongi went first to tell us if the coast was clear. Then Taehyung went with Kacey. He had an arm around her to keep her balanced as she had sprained her ankle. Halfway through though, Taehyung shyly asked if she wanted a piggy back cuz you could tell that she was seconds away from screaming in pain. She slowly nodded and Taehyung slowly picked her up and started walking behind Yoongi. Then behind Taehyung, it was me carrying a knocked out Harper, even though she was unconscious; she still had quite a tight grip around my neck. Then behind me was Jin, Jimin and Hoseok who were watching our backs while we made our way out and into the car. We had protection from the pack members also, so when every now and then a wolf that wasn't from our pack attacked; trying to get either Harper or Kacey, they had our backs and fought them off.

We made it to the car eventually. The car had 3 sections. The back, the middle, two more seats in front of that with a mini table and then the front. I made my way to the back, to sit down with Harper. I slowly lowered her onto the seat. Still the pack members protecting us. Then I slowly lowered her head back into the head area of the seat and put her legs into the car. Then I closed her side and ran to the other side to get in myself. I gave a small bow to the pack members to show that I appreciated them protecting us.

Then Taehyung got in the seat in front of us, he did the same thing with Kacey but easier as she was awake, and then he ran to the other side and got in next to Kacey. Then eveyone else just rushed to the closest seat they could find so we can get out of there as quickly as possible.

Namjoon was driving, because let's be honest he's the most responsible.. although he's the god of destruction.. he's the still the best driver, although I kind of regret asking him to drive now. If we crash and he survives I'm haunting him I don't even care.

We were gonna be on the road for about 2 and a half hours.. about an hour in Harper's head was tilting all over the place but really oddly, I thought she would break her neck at one point. So I slowly turned her body and placed her head on my lap. It might've been the wrong thing to do but I couldn't help myself. And she didn't seem to mind, even though she was unconscious that's not the point. I wonder what was going on inside her head.

Harper's POV

After Jungkook told me to shift, I don't remember anything. All I remember is the look in Jungkooks eyes, as if he knew who I was even though I've never shifted. I never knew I could, I never even knew I was a werewolf. Then darkness.. thats literally it. So helpful right?

Suddenly, out of no where. I hear a voice, but it sounds like it's coming from me.. even though I'm in no state to speak.

"Hello?" I ask the voice

"Hello.." she answered softly

"Er who are you and why are you in me?" That's what she said lol sorry. I ask as she didn't say anything after

"Oh right sorry, I'm your wolf.. my names Diamond" she says

"Hi Diamond, that's such a pretty name! My names Harper but I guess you kind of know that by now haha" I give out a small laugh

She laughs back

"Yeah, I do haha. I think we'll get along just fine. I mean I'm stuck with you so I have no choice" she teases

"Oh shut up! I'm the one that's stuck with you! Not the other way round!" I huff

"Mhm yeah yeah, sure" she smiles

I walk closer to her and touch her white fur, it was all white but at the tips of it, it had grey on it as if it was dip dyed. Her eyes were crystal blue and it changed to brown near the middle, with a darker blue around the eyes. She really was beautiful, if I was a wolf I would be head over heals for her.

"You really are gorgeous" I say as I run my hands through her fur which she lightly purs to in response

"So are you! The wolf of a human is usually portraying the humans soul. And I guess your soul looks like this" she says looking down as if pointing at herself

"Damn, I have a sexy soul haha.. and a real life body of a potato" I laugh

"Shut up you're gorgeous!" She comes up to me and licks my cheek.

"Don't talk about yourself like that. Because I won't let anyone talk to you like that, even yourself" she pushes her head from indent hand and I sit down so she can put her head on my lap

"Will we ever meet like this again? Cuz I'm enjoying this" I said as I ran my hands through her fur for the hundredth time

"I'm sure we will! I'm enjoying this as well. Just know that I'm always here for you! Even if don't think you can stand up for yourself, I will. Because I'm part of you now.. and I'll love you more than your mate" she winks

My face drops, well he doesn't love me so..

"Yes he does! He just hasn't realised yet!" She answers as if reading my mind. I think she did to be honest. If we're gonna share the same body then I think she would be able to read my mind, which is kind of scary when you think about it..
