Chapter 16

I felt something hard hit my back as a sharp pain ran up from my spine to the back of my neck

"Ugh" I groan as I fall to the ground. I reach the area with the most pain which was by my neck and rub it while I look up to try and find the culprit

"I'm glad you could make it" he bent down giving me an evil and devilish smirk

Harper's POV

I heard the door open, stress rises inside of me again. I don't want to see them again, god I haven't been scared like this in years! And here I thought I was a tough girl. I start crying again, but I learned to keep it quiet.

I thought that they were just gonna check up on me to make sure I was still there or something, even tho I couldn't get far anyways. But I heard the person step on a stone or something that squeaked which by the loudness of it, told me that they were walking towards me. And were getting closer and closer.

"P-please stay a-away! I S-stayed quiet!" My voice shakes even though I try to make it sound s strong as possible. I failed so I started to push myself as far as I could from that man.. even though there was a pole stopping me going my furthest.

But I stopped trying when I heard his voice, it wasnt the mean mans voice

"Harper.. it's me, Jungkook" he says gently

Relief runs through my body as fast as electricity. Why didn't he tell me when he walked in? Could have saved me a lot of stressing out, but okay you do you.

"J-Jungkook?" I question him even though I know it's him

He gently places his hand on top of my eyes and starts to take the blind fold off of me. I blink a few times so my eyes can adjust to the light, even if there was barely any light in there.

He brings his soft hands and dries the tears that I cried and then placed his thumb on my chin and his index finger underneath my chin, then he gently tilted my head up and we held an eye contact. That eye contact gave me butterflies like no other, but the thing that won me over was the cute little bunny smile he gave me as if reassuring me. I gave him a smile back to show him my gratitude for finding me. But it soon fades away as I see a figure creep up from behind him. It takes me a moment but I soon snap out of it and shout at him with all the energy left inside of me

"JUNGKOOK LOOK OUT-" I tried, I even tried to somehow punch him out the way using my feet but I failed. He got hit in the back.. really hard.

He hit the ground and a groan left him mouth, that noise was enough to make me cringe and to feel his pain.

I closed my eyes for a second to let myself recover from the cringe. When I open them again I see that man squatting down and staring at Jungkook

"I'm glad you could make it" is all he says, with the most evil smile I've ever seen in my life. Evil enough to make me want to put my blindfold back on. And that's saying something even after you've worn the blindfold for hours already. I wanted to snap at him but I knew if I did it wouldn't end well for neither me or Jungkook. So I bit my tongue and stayed quiet, which was surprisingly the hardest thing I've done all day not gonna lie.

"You came to get your little slut?" The man pointed with the pipe at me

Excuse me?

Jungkook growled.. Declan is definitely taking over soon

"C'mon Declan.. I've missed you. This time I'll end you" he growls now as if challenging him

Jungkook started shifting into the wolf he had inside that had zero patience. Soon stood in front of me.. the same silky black furred wolf. He gave me a glance with his black as fuck eyes before turning to the man that I still have no clue who he is or what his name is. But Jungkook and him have definitely met before.

I turn to the man and see that he's shifting into a light brown wolf who is still quite large, but not as large as Jungkook's wolf.. Declan.

They growl at eachother before they pounce. I couldn't watch.. I'm such a pussy

I closed my eyes and faced the other direction. I couldn't see but I sure as hell could hear what was happening. I could hear growls, howls filled with pain, things being ripped. I guess it was fur otherwise someone would have been dead. I soon feel a wolfs body hit me. I yelp in both pain and the fact that my eyes closed and I didn't see it coming. The wolf purred and got up, gently licked my face before turning away, making me give out a slight giggle.. that was sweet

I decide to open my eyes and to my surprise I see a few other wolves coming in to fight. Mostly from the enemy's side though. Maybe there were two wolves apart from Jungkook, trying to protect him. And about five or six trying to kill them.

I could see that Jungkook was slowly getting weaker and weaker as he had about 5 wolves attacking him from all directions, his head must be spinning right now. One of the wolf's bit his leg making him give out the most painful howl I've ever heard. That howl triggered something inside of me. I wasn't quite sure what. But the next few minutes went so quickly it was all a blur to me. But I couldn't help just sitting by here hopelessly watching Jungkook and his pack members get beaten up over me.. just because they fell into a trap..
