"I had a nice night Madison." Niall says looking down at me as we stand in the doorway of my suite.
"I did too, thank you for taking me." I smile.
"Well I'll let you get to bed, I'll uhm.. Text you, yeah?" He says and he's blushing. It's absolutely adorable and it takes everything in me to hide the ridiculous smile that is trying to come out. I chew on my lip to keep the corners of my mouth from turning up.
"Looking forward to it" I tease and he laughs.
"Goodnight Madison." He says as he leans down and kisses my cheek. Oh? It's a sweet gesture but I've just never had that happen to me.. I thought it only happened in the movies.
"Goodnight Niall.. Oh and call me Madi." I say as he walks away from me. He turns around and stops in his tracks and smiles, "okay, night, Madi" and with that he leaves.
I close my door and press my forehead to it looking down at my feet. The smile I was hiding breaks through and tugs at the corners of my mouth. I move over to my bed after changing, but I don't bother to take my makeup off. My heart is pounding and my stomach is aching with excitement, all over this boy that i had just met. I hope he texts me, I hope I see him again. Is it bad that I already like him? No, no I don't like him...not yet at least. Just the time that I've spent with him has seemed like so long while it's only been a day. All my thoughts run ramped and then I finally fall asleep after what seems like hours. I dream about a blonde irish boy with blue eyes pressing his lips to my cheek.
...
I wake up to my phone ringing and I look at the time and it's 3pm. I slept in, a lot. I couldn't seem to fall asleep last night, and when I finally did it was 1 in the morning. I look at my phone and I see "Niall" flashing across the screen.
"Hello?" I croak into my phone.
"Hey Madi, did I wake you?" He laughs on the other end.
"No no you didn't.." I lie just because I don't want him to apologize to me... again.
"Okay good" he says, "I was wondering if you wanted to grab some dinner with me and some lads tonight?"
"Uhm sure! What time and where?" I ask. The butterflies immediately come back.
"7? And don't worry about that Harry and I will pick you up."
"Harry?" I ask.
"Yea he's a friend, you'll like him." He says reassuringly.
"Alright well I'll see you tonight then?" I say.
"Yep, can't wait, see you in a few hours Madi." He says and I imagine him smiling as he says my name, like I know I'm smiling when I say, "bye Niall"
