We go to the sandwich place that I saw earlier, and Niall says it's very good. I order some sort of sandwich, I have no idea what's on it but Niall promised that it's delicious, and he gets the same. He pays for my meal even though I told him not too.

"Here" I say practically shoving money at him to pay him back.

"No, no really I don't want you to pay me back!" He laughs gently pushing my hand back and I pout. I feel bad that he's paying for me and I just met him.

"Well I'll have to repay you somehow." I say.

"Madison, are you suggesting-"

"What? No!" I laugh a little embarrassed that he thought I was referring to... That. By the topic does make me wonder...

"Cheeky one aren't you?" He gives me a smug look and I roll my eyes but I can't help but smile.

Once our food arrives at our table, I dive in. I'm starving and the sandwich smelled really good. I'm a little embarrassed at how I'm eating, not very lady like at all but Niall doesn't seem to mind, since he's practically doing the same, and it's adorable.

"I didn't think you'd be staying in Dublin." He says.

"Really? I was just flying into Dublin not to stay here." I say sarcastically and he laughs."

"I know I just thought you looked like more of a girl that would be staying on the country side."

"Oh? Why's that?" I ask.

"I don't know, you just look like a down to earth, save the trees and animals kind of girl." He laughs.

"There's nothing wrong with wanting to save the earth!" I say playfully. "Well even though I'm staying in the city id love to go see the country side." I smile back. "So what did you want to show me today?" I ask.

"I was hoping I could take you to the beach? I know it's a drive but I just thought why not since its a really beautiful day." He says and looks up to meet my eyes. "Is that okay?"

"Yea I'd love to do that but.." I say and take another bite of my sandwich and he giggles. "I don't really have a swimsuit since I didn't know we would be going to the beach."

"We don't need to get wet, we can just take a stroll along the coast." He says smiling.

I playfully roll my eyes, "How romantic" I say and he laughs but his cheeks flush and I can tell he's a little embarrassed.

"It sounds fun though!" I add to assure him that I want to go. And I do, it sounds nice. I can't help but imagine walking along the water leaning against him, looking into a beautiful sunset as we just talk and laugh and get to know each other. What am I saying? I just met him. This isn't a date, he's just being kind, I need to remember that. He probably has a girlfriend anyway, I mean look at him.

We both finish our food and we walk out to Nialls car parked along the street. He opens the door for me and I blush thanking him and hopping into the seat.

I fall asleep on the car ride there with my head leaned against the window. I don't really know how I've managed to sleep this much. When I wake I look over to see Niall staring at me.

"Sorry I just.. I didn't want to wake you...again." He gives a small laugh and his eyes are wide.

"No you're fine don't apologize. Are we here?" Obviously we are or he wouldn't be stopped and looking at me. That was a dumb question.

"Yep we are" he smiles as he puts a hoodie on and gets out of the car only to come around and help me out. He offers me his hand and I step out losing balance because I'm still a little groggy from the nap I took. I lean on him for support with one hand in his and the other on his chest as I steady myself. When we head down the rocks to get to the shore he doesn't let go of my hand. Probably just to keep me steady since we are walking on rough ground.

He must've driven to a further away beach since the sun is already starting to set, I guess it's around 5pm.

We reach the sandy part of the shore and he still hasn't let go of my hand, but I don't remove it. His hand has a firm grip on mine but it sends electricity through my entire body, causing the butterflies in my stomach to be constant.

"I wish I would've brought a swimsuit, it would've been beautiful to be in the water at this time" I say looking out to the calm ocean, and watching the waves that crash on the land.

"It would but itd be very cold" he says and laughs, "and we'd have to watch out for sharks"

I stop and look at him and he laughs to let me know he's kidding...some what.

It's getting later as we walk on the sand making small talk, and I shiver. The breeze from the water is cool and since its later in the day the temperature is dropping.

Niall notices, and stops to take off his hoodie and puts it around my shoulders. "Here" he says with a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. We're now facing each other and I hadn't realized that now he has both my hands in his, and we're just staring at one another. His eyes are an amazing shade of blue and they glisten in the low sun. I was too distracted by his smile and eyes that I didn't thank him for his jacket. Good job Madi.

"Do you wanna sit?" He says gesture down. I nod and he sits down taking me with him. We both sit facing the water, my legs crossed and his up with his knees bent supporting his arms. He let go of my hands.

"It's beautiful." I say looking at the beams of orange hitting the surface of the water. I can feel Nialls eyes on me and i peak my eyes over to see him smiling at me.

"It is" he says still looking at me. I shyly turn toward him and give him a little smile. I jump a little when I feel his arm snake around my waist and pull me closer to his body. I'm grateful, for one its getting colder, and two, I've been longing for him to touch me ever since I meet him. Maybe this is going to fast? I wouldn't know from the lack of, or more non existent experience I've had with relationships.

No, no it's not. We haven't even kissed or anything. He's just being friendly, and even if he considers this a date, people do this all the time..right? Im not sure...

I can't help but feel something with him though. I know haven't known him for more than 24 hours but after being with him most of the day, I can't help but feel like there's something there. There's a kind of electricity pulsing between us, and an undeniable pull. I didn't come here to find someone, I came here to explore and enjoy myself. But now looking at things, I know it's going to be hard for me to keep to myself..especially is Niall sticks around.
