I walk back into the familiar apartment. Nialls apartment. I drop my bag near the door and walk into the living room. The room is bright with the sun streaming in through the window.
"You can take a shower...if you want to now." Niall says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh uhm sure. Thanks." I smile.
"Here the bathroom is down here." He says walking down the hall and turns to the right.
"Thanks." I say and close the door after he leaves.
I run the water and step into the shower. The water is warm and it feels good against my skin. I'm still shaking. Not because I'm cold but because of where I am and whats happened. I'm here in a boys apartment in Ireland showering. I never would've thought that I would meet someone here. I came here for the summer to learn about the culture and have a change of pace in life. To have some time for myself and experience new things. But in a way I am. I've never had a boyfriend and I know Niall is not my boyfriend but, he's the closest to one that I've ever had.
I use the shampoo and conditioner that's in the shower, even though they have masculine scents I don't mind, it's a familiar faint scent that I smell on Niall when I'm around him and I like it.
When I get out of the shower I wrap a towel around my body and walk out of the bathroom.
"Niall?" I call.
He doesn't answer.
I walk a little further down the hall and a door is cracked open. I push it open slightly.
"Ni-" I'm cut off when I see Niall standing by a bed with his shirt off and sweats on.
He turns around to me and I can feel the heat rush to my face.
"Sorry, I didn't know where you were." I say gripping the towel to my body.
"You're fine." He says as his eyes rake down my body.
"Ill go get dressed.." I say and close the door behind me and walk over to grab my clothes out of my bag. I change back into my shorts and top in the bathroom and walk back out and drop my bag off where it originally was.
Niall is now standing in the kitchen, still shirtless. I can't help but watch him, watch his back contrasts as he moves his his arms up to grabs a glass.
He pours some water and turns around to see me. He smiles and walks over and hands me the glass."Here I thought you might be thirsty."
"Thanks." I smile and take a sip of the water.
"Sure." He says and walks over to the couch and sits down.
"So uhm, thanks for taking me to the beach. It was fun." I say leaning against the wall.
"It was." He smiles. "I wasn't actually interrupting any plans you had today right?"
"No you weren't." I say. "To be honest though, I wasn't expecting you to show up."
"Really? Why not?" He says leaning his arms on his knees and his eyes studying my face.
"I don't know... Probably just because of what happened and...never mind it's stupid." I say slightly laughing.
"No tell me."
"I just thought that what happened...that it didn't mean much to you. I mean-"
"Madi," he's walking towards me. "Why wouldn't I care about that?"
I shrug.
"I was up all night thinking about it." He says and takes the glass from my hands and sets it on a near table, his face inches from mine.
"I-"
I can't continue when I feel his hand press against my hip.
"I kept thinking about how I touched you, how you buried your fingers in my hair." He presses my back up against the wall, both of his hands on me now.
"And I kept thinking about how you wrapped your legs around me, while I stood between you on the counter." His fingers go down and trace a line up and down on my thigh. My breathing increases and my heart is pounding out of my chest. He gives me this feeling that I've never experienced before.
"Just tell me no if you want me to stop." He breathes dangerously close to my face.
"No" I say before crashing my lips to his.
I reach my hands up and pull at his hair and I move my hips closer to him. He moans at the contact and I pull at his hair once more. His hands travel down to my legs and he picks me up holding me against the wall while my legs wrap around his torso. His lips travel down my jaw to my neck and I can't help the moan that escapes my lips, and I can feel him smile against my skin.
He takes his mouth off of my skin and I let out a breathe from the loss of contact.
"Madi, I don't want you to do something you'll regret."
I stop him by placing a kiss on his swollen lips. "I want this." I whisper.
"Are you-"
"Yes... Please." Im practically begging, but I don't care. I know I've always imagined my first time being with a man that I had been with for years and loved, and it would be sensual, but the way he makes me feel, I can't help it. My image of a my perfect night slips away with every second that I'm with Niall.
He smiles and presses his lips back to mine. His tongue is gentle against mine and his mouth moves perfectly with me.
He supports me by holding me around my back and he starts moving towards the bedroom.
He moves the door open and walks towards the bed still kissing me. He turns around and sits on the bed so I'm strangling him. He breaks from the kiss and reaches down to the hem of my shirt and pulls the fabric over my head. I flush from feeling so revealed and so vulnerable. I don't know why, he's already seen me in a swim suit.
I try to push aside my embarrassment and I kiss him again holding my hands on his chest as I lay him down with me following on top of him. His hands move up my back, his fingers tracing my spine, and he reaches my bra. He breaks from my lips as one of his hands slip one of the straps off my shoulder. He leans up and plants a line of soft kisses on my collar bone to to the peak of my shoulder. He slips the other strap off. And I can feel myself getting nervous.
"Do you want me to stop?" He asks. He must see that I'm nervous. That or he can feel me lightly shaking.
"No, I've just never..you know." I say.
"It's okay baby." He says and places a kiss on my nose. "We don't have to...tonight."
"Then what-"
"Let me show you." He interrupts as he flips me over on the bed, now hovering over me.
