*Casey's POV*
I trudged down the street, grumbling nonsense to myself.
How could I have let her see me? I needed to get my act together, or April will never see me the way she sees Donnie. Maybe I can take stealth lessons from their Sensei or something.
But my main question is, why did Leo make me do that? I thought after all that Kitanna had done, he would at least trust her enough to go out and save the others with him.
I wonder if April trusts her? I mean, she went alone to her house and came back smiling, so nothing bad could be happening. I know I trust her, along with Raph and Mikey. Donnie only seems happy to have a science smart person around to talk to, but he never questions her behaviors.
I kick a loose pebble on the ground and sigh. I look up at the midnight sky. The stars twinkled and the moon lay in the field of them.
Then a shadow crossed the moon. A female shadow, at that. Had Kitanna forgot something?
My curiosity caused me to climb up the stairs of the building. As I got on top, the figure jumped back into the building.
My eyes widened. The figure didn't have a cape on.
"Well, well. Look whose here," the female snarled.
"You're not Kitanna..." Was all I could muster out.
"You're darn right I'm not. My sister is going to die, along with anyone who stands in the way. And right now, I see a boy with a stupid mask blocking my path home. Better move before you regret this conversation," Karai hissed.
She pulled out her katana and went into sparring position. I didn't know what else to do, so I prepared myself as well.
"What business do you have with my sister, anyway? You don't seem her type," she nudged.
She was trying to push me somewhere. But where?
"I'm not her type, I prefer red heads," I reply. That was kind of true, but it was a stupid reply.
"Well in that case, it will be a lot easier to kill you now," she growled. She charged at me, sword aimed right at my head.
I rolled under it and pulled my mask down. I then grabbed a hockey stick and prepared to play on defense.
She turned around and leaped into the air. She went to strike, but I swung my stick and knocked her to the vent on the building.
She was startled, but stood, ready for more.
"You're pretty good, boy," she complimented. "But I'm better."
She pulled out what seemed to be a smoke bomb. She broke it and flung it in my face.
I choked and sputtered on the revolting stench of the powder. My eyes stung, but I had to keep them open in case she came after me.
I felt a freight train hit my stomach and send me off the roof. "Woaaah!"
I landed on a dumpster top with a sickening crack. I lay there for a moment, letting my eyes readjust. They focused on a little head peering over the edge of the roof I just fell off. She stood and leaped on in the direction she was going.
After a few moments of rehabilitation, I attempted to push myself off the garbage and stand up. I instantly fell to my knees, tears of pain threatening to fall. I clutched my injured ankle and applied pressure.
I stood on my left foot and hopped over to the sidewalk. I used my stick as a crutch and tried walking on my right foot as much as I could. Every footstep gave me agonizing pain, but all I could think about was Leo and Kitanna.
How would they find out Karai was back?

*Kitanna's POV*
As we approached the run down building that the three brothers were in, I took out the shadow cloak.
"Alright, all you have to do is apply it to your arm, and it'll do the rest. So what am I going to do? Deal with them," I gestured to the foot soldiers. "Or you stealth attack from behind?"
Leo considered it for a moment before whispering, "I think it would be easier for both of us if you pretended to be lost and I used it to my advantage, but..."
"What if we both took them by surprise?" I suggested, wiping off the rest of the disguise cloak. My ears flickered and bent down into an angry position. "I sense an unwelcoming presence."
"Oh, look what we have here," a female voice bellowed from behind us. "Hello, Kitanna. Leo."
Our eyes grew wide. Only one girl that could get up here and want to fight this late at night.
I growled. "Sister."
