*Kitanna's POV*

I navigated through the pipes as if I knew them by heart, Mikey following close behind me. I listened for the slight hissing sound that came from the room Leo was dragged into.

Of course Baxter would create an old Japanese shadow cloak with new technology. That old dishonored nerd.

"What's the plan, Kitanna?" Mikey asked very quietly. Thanks to the new ears I had, it sounded like he was yelling.

"We get in and find the invisible man. If I learned anything about ancient shadow cloak spells, it's that they have one small flaw," I replied, instantly growing quiet. I leaned my hooded head against the cool metal that surrounded us.

"What's the flaw?" Mikey questioned.

How could I explain this so he would understand? "The cloak spell has a shine to it, when in the proper light. That's why the spell is only used in the dark."

Mikey went silent. I sensed the sadness emitting from his body.

"What's wrong, Mikey?" I asked quietly.

He sighed sadly. "This is all my fault... I left them, and now Raph," he gestured to the tiny turtle on my shoulder, "Donnie and Leo are all de-mutated, and we don't know how to fix it! They'll be stuck small like that forever!" He was about to cry.

"Mikey, it isn't your fault. You left them to get help, and you brought it," I replied.

"Yeah, and one of the helpers got sprayed too," he grumbled.

I went to say something, but the small turtle in my shoulder slid down my arm. He landed on the metal slab below us with a plop, and trudged over to his brother.

Mikey looked down and the small Raph smiled and rubbed his little head against Mikey's fingers. Mikey smiled in return, lifted his little big brother and hugged him lightly.

"We'll find a way to fix you, Raph," Mikey whispered. "I promise."

*Casey's POV*

April had been dazed out ever since the three of them left.

"Hey, Red? You've been zoned out for a while. Everything okay?" I asked, really worried about her emotions. Girls can get really dangerous when their feelings are out of whack.

She sighed. "Not really. It's been too long for them not to have returned, Master Splinter told me a really hard to believe story, and I can't help but think what happened to Donnie and them!"

I cringed. Donnie and I had our moments, but most of the time he was making goo goo eyes at my girl. "I'm sure their fine, Red. They can handle themselves, especially with 'cat girl' on their side," I replied.

Kitanna and I had a bad run in when we were smaller. I followed her home one day, hoping to... Um... flirt with her.

Let's just say I got the opposite of what I was after. I followed her into her home and she attacked. Not like in combat, just to scare me off. That obviously worked.

"Yeah... but what if she doesn't know how to help? That episode she just had could lead to a chain of them... And her ears! Where did those come from...?" April continued on until Splinter came walking in. I just kept my attention on April because of... fear.

"April, you must have faith in Kitanna," he said, the word Kitanna being oddly formed.

She nodded and looked at me and smiled her 'I'm hiding something from you' smile.
