Chapter 33
Realizing One’s Feeling…
Clarence’s POV
I don’t know but I run towards her… despite of this rain.. she’s in pain.. a pain that I know… it’s hard to make choice for the good of the people we love.
Lumagpas sa akin si Tita… lumapit siya kay Christina and hugs her from the back…
“I’m sorry. You have to see this.” Paulo. “This is not good… we might lose her again.”
“Lose?”
“Why don’t you think??”
She’s going back… after all this time.. but… will I able tolet her go then??
I clench my hands. “Paulo…I’m going home tomorrow… but for now… let me stay here…” For her.
Benedict’s POV
“Okay, Lisa. I’m on my way back home. Let’s discuss it tomorrow.”
“Okay Sir.” Napangiti ako ng makita ko ang chocolate mouse ice cream cake na paborito ng princesa kong si Christina.
But…bigla akong napalabas ng kotse.. “Christina??” She looks at me.. “Wh-what happened??”
“Daddy..” She started to cry.. I squatted in front of her and caressed her face.. She’s crying now.. like the way Dawn passed away… like Skye went away..
“DADDY!!” Niyakap niya ko ng mahigpit. But… suddenly she collapsed.
“Christina?? Christina! What happened here Clara?!” She tends to Christina..
“It’s not good. Her pulse… it’s too weak. We need to go to the hospital.”
---
“So that happened.” I patted her head. “I’m sorry.. to put the burden of our family in your shoulder Christina… I’m really sorry.”
“… Dad… Grandma…” She’s too weak to speak.
“I understand. Just sleep my princess.” I force myself to smile at her. “Daddy will take care of everything. Your Grandma will be back.”
Then…slowly.. her eyes close and she went to sleep.
“Andrea.. how is my daughter..”
“Clara.. you know that her body is not that good to begin with. Her blood counts are low… and she has a fever right now.”
