Family Day
Christina’s POV
“Naku Chrirstina, pasensya ka na ha. Busy lang daw sila.”
“Okay lang po Lola Mila.”
She patted my head. “Sige Alfred ibaba mo nay an at susunod na kami.”
Mommy, went to a seminar about a new researcher last night. She stop by to tell me that she understand everything. That everything will be fine.
And Dad… I only saw Lola Mila and Kuya Alfred fetching me this morning.
“Is he angry??”
“Syempre hindi. Don’t worry too much.”
I tried to smile. “Ah.. Lola, can I get this fruit. Tutal naman uuwi na tayo?”
“S-sige. Pero anong gagawin mo?”
“Let’s go!”

“Manang, this is Nanay Celia. And this is Louie.”
“Hmm… ako nga pala ang mayordoma ng mga Jacobs.”
“Magandang araw po.” Louie.
“Nay okay na po ba kayo?”
“Okay na. Nakascedule ako na maoperahan sa susunod na araw.”
“I will be here Nay.”
“Sige.”
Then my phone rings.
Calling…
Hayes
“Excuse me po.” Lumabas ako sandali.
“Where are you?”
“Hmm going home? I’m coming back to school tomor-“
“Come here. It’s Family Day.”
“Kadidischarge ko pa lang Hayes.”
“You’re Dad is here. And you’re Mom too. They’ve made it. Mom and Dad are here too. If you want I can come and pick you up.”
… I can’t hear anything… I can’t speak… Dad is in school for Family Day… even Mom??
