“Manager. I’m renting this place for 1 hour. Can you please closed it??”

“Everyone.” They all looked at me. “The staff… come here.” Parang mga hangin sila na napunta sa harap ko. They looked scared. “Do you all find me intimidating?? Why don’t you talked and laughed as you all usually do?? I’m still the Chris that you know.”

“Oo nga.” I laughed nang nagunahan silang kumuha ng pagkain.

“Everyone. Thank you.” I smile. “You are all been a part of my family… friends that I’ve made not being Jacobs… Nay Chef.. Tay Chef. Thank you for feeding me delicious things over my short stay here. Tay Secu.. Thank you sa paghahatid sa akin sa labas kapag gabi na. Bros and Sis.. Thank you for guiding me. And Manager thank you for scolding me. I really felt an ordinary person.. and I finally said ti myself.. “Ah.. ganito pa la maging normal na empleyado lang..”… and Dexter… thank you for doing that favor for me. All of you thank you for making my stay here happy and satisfying.”
“What is this?? Aalis ka ba?” Manager..

“Of course you are. Kung hindi lagot ka sa amin.” Manager.

“Ah… o sige. May gusto din kasi akong itanong sa iyo eh… Pero mag-babye na rin ako sa kanila. Sa labas na lang tayo mag-usap.”
“OKAY!”
“Everyone. I’m sorry. I have to leave. I have class to catch.” Tatayo na sana si Manong Driver. “Don’t. Just eat.” I smiled at them. “Bye everyone.”
“Oh.. visit us sometimes.”
“Okay.”
