After a few weeks, I had to return to the hospital to get my sling off and to get it checked. Bucky couldn't come because of work, so I had to go alone.

I sat on the edge of the bed, as the doctor felt around my arm.

"Let me know if you feel any pain or tenderness," He said.

I relaxed my muscles as he started from my wrist and worked his way up to my shoulder. When he got to my collarbone, I felt a sharp, fast pain, and I flinched a little.

"Did that hurt?" he asked.

"A little. Bearable though," I replied.

"That is to be expected. If it becomes unbearable, you will have to come back to me. But other than that, I'd say you're good to go," the doctor smiled at me.

"Thank you," I said, putting my shirt back on.

"If you need any more antibiotics, the pharmacist should give you some," the doctor said.

"Thanks, Doc," I smiled, before walking out.

When I got home, I smelt an amazing smell through the apartment.

"Baby?" I said.

"In here," Bucky yelled to me from the kitchen.

I smiled to myself, hanging up my coat before walking down the hall.

The kitchen was all steamed up, and Bucky was waving a cloth in front of the oven.

"What are you doing?" I asked, confused.

"I left it in for too long," He replied, trying not to burn himself.

"Left what in for too long? I didn't tell you to watch anything," I said, before he pulled out a large ham from the oven.

"Surprise?" he said, looking at it.

"Awh, baby," I walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek, "I'm sure I can... salvage some of it," I smiled, hopeful.

"What's the point? I forgot to put the veg in, and burnt the ham, and forgot to buy..." Bucky rambled, but I stopped him with a kiss.

When I pulled away, I looked up to him and smiled, "I can make it work. Now shoo, out of my kitchen!" I whacked him playfully with the cloth.

"I'm going, I'm going," he said.

I finished off the dinner, adding the veg on high to ensure it cooked faster. I cut what was edible of the ham and placed it onto two plates and stirred up some gravy, giving Bucky a larger portion than mine. When I'd plated everything, I walked into the dining room, and placed them down on two dinner mats.

"Ready!" I called Bucky and he came in through the living room.

"Smells great," he winked and kissed my cheek, before sitting down.

I sat down opposite him and he immediately started eating.

"Hard day, huh?" I smiled.

"What do you mean?" he asked, his mouth full of food.

"Don't talk with food in your mouth, you pig!" I laughed jokingly.

Bucky stared at me, chewing his food, before swallowing.

"Better?" he asked, smiling.

"Yes," I replied.

We finished eating and cleaned up together, like we always did. Bucky always insisted he would help me, even though the only thing he did was get in my way. But I treasured each and every second with Bucky, even when he was a pain in my ass.

After cleaning up, we both agreed on an early night. I laid in bed as Bucky got changed, before sliding under the covers beside me, and wrapping his arm around me.

I let out a little squeal, "That arm of yours is cold."

"Sorry," he kissed my neck, and worked up to my lips.

"If you're planning something, you better prepare first," I smiled, breaking the kiss.

"Why can't we have little Bucky's running round?" Bucky looked at me, with puppy eyes.

"Because little Bucky's wouldn't be safe, or ideal. So, get what you need or turn over and go to sleep," I pecked him on the lips, before he turned over, huffing and puffing.

I stared up to the ceiling, thinking of how cute little Bucky's would be running round my feet, clinging to me. I found myself smiling at the thought. Maybe one day it would happen. But I was right, children wasn't a good idea. They wouldn't be safe. If me and Bucky couldn't even ensure our safety, then what kind of people would we be, putting another person's life at risk – a child's life.

My thoughts were interrupted by Bucky's arm extending across my stomach. He lay beside me, naked.

"Wow, okay. Not shy at all, are you?" you smile.

"We live together, Y/N, you've seen every inch of me, plenty of times. I haven't got reason to be shy, and neither do you..." he ran his hands up my night gown.

I rolled over, laying on top of him and kiss him, passionately and slowly. And as I pulled away, Bucky turned me over, and now he was on top. He lifted my hands above my head and took off my nightgown and threw it to the floor beside me.

He kissed down from my neck, to my chest. Then along my stomach and down to my hips, before disappearing under the duvet. I found my hands searching for him, until I found his hair. His face lay in between my legs as he continued to kiss me.

I let out a small moan, and ran my fingers through his growing hair. It was due a cut, but he refused to let me do it. I allowed him to pleasure me, gripping the bed as he did so. My knees grew weak and my thighs grew tired.

I tried to be as quiet as I could, but Bucky was never the type to go easy. Once he had finished, he worked his way back up my body, and met my lips again.

"You're so beautiful..." he whispered into my ear and I couldn't help but giggle.

And it was a beautiful night...
