Two months later. Again, everything was just how I wanted it. Except Bucky still wouldn't let me work. He said I deserved to rest – as if eight months wasn't long enough for that. Saturday night's were date nights and I had began to sell my art.

Bucky gave me the idea. He said that my art was extraordinary and that I shouldn't hide such talent. And so he found a man who brought art, from one of his work friends, and we began talking about how much I would make.

I typically earned two hundred dollars a piece, which secretly made Bucky jealous. He didn't like that my monthly income was more than his, but I liked to use it to my advantage.

HYDRA had been unsuccessful in finding us. Bucky seemed to believe they had given up, but I knew that was not true. However, every time I disagreed, we fought. Argued even. And I hated it. He would leave and go to the pub, and drink it all away. Coming home in the early hours, drunk and noisily.

He would arrive home, blaming me for everything. HYDRA and the fights. But then tell me he loved me. He would always make up for it the next day though - he knew when he was in the wrong.

It didn't happen often : I knew when to keep my mouth shut.

However, it did happen again. I was sitting on the sofa, watching TV, when I switched to the News, just as Bucky came and sat beside me.

And to my surprise, I saw Pierce standing next to a man. My eyes widened and I sat forward.

"What?" Bucky asked, not paying attention to the TV.

"Pierce..." I stuttered. Bucky immediately rose to see what I was looking at.

"What is this?" Bucky wondered.

"The news..." I was in complete shock.

"Turn it off, doll," Bucky said.

"No, I want to see this."

I focused on the TV, "I am proud to announce our new secretary, Mr Alexander Pierce. As a new high member of S.H.I.E.L.D, we believe he will make a positive impact on our company," The man beckoned Pierce over to the microphone.

"Thank you, Nick. I am so honoured to have this new job, and I am hopeful that S.H.I.E.L.D will see a new, positive change with me and Director Fury at its front. My old business caused multiple... problems with certain people..." Pierce explained.

"Turn it off!" Bucky repeated.

"No, I want to hear it!" I replied.

Bucky snatched the remote from my hands and turned off the TV, before resting back on the sofa.

"Why did you do that?" I asked, turning to him.

"Because we don't need to be watching that crap," He replied, not even looking up to me from his book.

"What if he just exposed us to the world? I won't know now because you turned it off!" I said, angrily.

Bucky noticed my tone and looked up, closing his book, "You worry too much."

"What the hell is your problem tonight?" I questioned him, getting to my feet, "Don't you understand that we are still hiding?"

"We're not hiding," Bucky said, but I interrupted him.

"Yes we are! And now that Pierce is in the US it isn't safe for us here anymore!" I explained.

Bucky got to his feet and looked down to me, "So go."

"W... what?" I asked, completely confused and shocked.

"Go. You think I'm scared?" Bucky said, getting angry now too.
