Location: 2. World (Tan'i), the red city, the Anastri-Sqare

„Kill them! Kill them! Kill them! Kill them! "

A large crowd had gathered in front of the huge square that was right in the middle of the metropolis. One of the men who had spoken to them and who had later introduced himself as Jiyū had explained the origin of this place to them, because he had soon found out that they were not from here. He probably suspected that they were outlaws, because according to him there was a legend that after the great third energy war Niretsu could not unite all people, some had declined his offer and lived somewhere in the great gray landscape since then. After the one war, the "savior Niretsu" built a unified city, the largest, most beautiful and strongest of all. All the people of Tan'i, except for the outlaws, were gathered in this city, and everything was peaceful. He built gardens and parks, shops and recreational opportunities. And also a huge space that should be used for demonstrations or for the dissemination of proposals. Everything changed drastically with his murder. The people divided into four groups, red, yellow, green and blue. They fought for the red city, everyone wanted this fortress. But the reds were the strongest, and drove everyone else out of their realm. The refugees then occupied the remaining three cities that Niretsu had also built. In his time, however, these were not used, they only served as places for retreat if another war might appear.

Boryōku had then objected that it was impossible to build four giant cities in a few years. But Jiyū had laughed at him that the outlaws probably had the most primitive technology ever. He explained that they had huge 3D printers that inexplicably disappeared after his death. Another legend said that after his death the spirit of Niretsu wanted to protect people from further dangers, so he took the most dangerous weapons of mankind with him into the afterlife - progress.

When asked why he entered into an alliance with them in the first place, after all, they weren't residents of Tan'i, he just shrugged. Every possible ally would serve them well.

He had acted rather strangely at the question, as if he were a little nervous. Boryōku had asked no further questions, but it was clear that Jiyū was hiding something from them.

Tsuyoi looked around. So many people, all in one place. Not nearly as many as in the big arena, but the spectacle was still pretty impressive. Garlands and confetti flew around, sweets and toys were offered. So that's why they disguised their getaway car as an ice cream van ... a little kid, maybe around 7 years old, was just ordering from them. They were also not noticed at all in the crowd. The civilian clothes fit perfectly, and they looked just like everyone else. Only he and Boryōku had entered the crowd while the rest of the men were in the ice cream van collecting money. The currency in the red city was simply called "Reds", as they found out.

Boryōku pushed his way through the crowd.

"Hey, don't push"

"I'm sorry"

"Be careful!"

"Would you like some candy, dear sir? Extra with an exploding granita chewing gum flavor "

"No thanks"

"Kill her! Death to the rebels! "

Jiyū had mentioned that too. The people of this city knew nothing about Anastri's mass murders, he was only known as the hero who freed the people from the weak democracy and the useless Senate. That is why they, the rebels, were nothing more to the people but dirt that was just greedy for power.

"Mom, will you buy me another festival mask?"

"Please ask your father, at the moment I have my hands full with Ko"
