Date: unknown

Location: (2. World (Tan'i), on the way to the sectors

The group had decided to go to the blue sector first, as they were wearing the blue armor and wanted to avoid collisions at first, at least until they got more information about this world. Right now they were walking on a large black paneled road, which lead exactly into the different sectors.

There was a whirring noise like from a big military drone.

The trained soldiers winced and searched the area with trained eyes.

In fact, they were drones. Drones covered in streaks of green light.

"Cover!" Shouted Boryōku as the first shots hit the rocky ground.

Behind us you could see more enemies approaching, another dozen drones, but also soldiers with jetpacks.

"Damn it, where did they come from?", Mukanshin gasped.

We're near the green sector here, "Kaito pointed to the huge skyscrapers that lay in front of us. They were covered in neon-glowing strips, had black walls and large darkened windows. Or were they made entirely of glass?

Kaito pulled out his guns and fired a few shots, but missed. The opponents, however, were armed with sniper rifles. A laser flash brushed Kaito's shoulder armor, hard plastic particles shot around in the air.

Boryōku raised his minigun. "Take this!" He roared loudly. A deafening crackling filled the air as bullets from 8 runs fired one after the other and tore a few attackers to pieces. Don'yoku aimed his assault rifle precisely and let a drone explode in a shower of sparks. After a short time it was over.

"What if we go to the green city first? Then we don't have to walk so much anymore," said Aima.

So they changed their suits. With green glowing armor, they proceeded, on the rest of the way no further incidents happened.

Finally they had reached the sector border. Soldiers all around the city gate checked and scanned arrivals.

"Damn it, what do we do now?" Asked a soldier of their team.

"Anyway, let's just pretend to be soldiers and see what happens. Otherwise we won't get any further," Kaito replied determined.

The group approached the checkpoint. "Stop," ordered one of the Greens, but despite the opaque visor you could tell from his pitch that he wasn't expecting anything unusual and was just doing his boring job. "Identify yourselves .."

"We are the squad that was sent out to greet the blue intruders," Kaito began. "We finished them off, but we are the only ones left."

"Ah, I see," replied the guard. "You can go over"

"Ts, he doesn't do his job very reliably. But good for us," said Mukanshin when they had passed the barriers without being scanned.

Now they were in town. It was huge, full of big, and sometimes smaller, black buildings, of which green neon lights stood out and immediately created a futuristic atmosphere.

The sky darkened the city even more than it already was, the streets, which hung in the air and consisted of pure light, were almost the only thing that brightened the darkness a little. Kaito had never seen anything so beautiful in his life. Twinkling lights and darkness, they reminded him a little of the world of numbers that he could dive into using his computer. How nice it would be to just sink into a comfortable armchair and annoy a bank again .. But now he was here, and he must have accepted it. He couldn't do anything else anyway..
