It was a stormy morning. Dark clouds moved over the otherwise light blue sky and there was no trace of the two suns that day, you could only see a dull, bluish glow somewhere in the distance.
Mukanshin sighed. He hadn't slept well yesterday. Today it was his job to wake up the other members. He saw Boryōku and a couple of his soldiers jog past him as the military morning routine dictated. "Morning," he greeted them still half asleep, then moved towards Aima's hut. Aima had recently got up, so he didn't have to wake her. "What good is my job when everyone is already awake anyway," he mumbled.
Suddenly a scream ripped through the camp. "Who did that?" Chariti shouted in horror.
"What happened?" Kaito came around the corner together with Shokyu. "Who yelled?"
Chariti was in front of a soldier's hut. She had only thrown a casual glance into it, and now there was a mutilated corpse in front of her.
"Who the hell !!" yelled Boryōku, who had just spotted her too.
"It's B-18!" Shouted another soldier. "He was already missing this morning!"
Inside the hut was a horrific sight.Blood and organs were scattered all over the floor, the victim's stomach was slashed and his face was completely disfigured. It looked like someone carved an extra face into the dead man's head. On the wall full of dried blood was a note attached with the help of a stone knife:

It could be anyone of you

"What does that mean?", Mukanshin asked nervously. "Do we have to deal with an insane serial killer now?"
"Actually we have one in our team .. Where is he anyway?" Kaito said.
"Has anyone spoken of me?" Came a voice from behind. Don'yoku looked annoyed. "Why should I kill that poor pig? What good would that do me?"
"I'm not saying anything .." Kaito replied.
"If I had known .." Mukanshin sat down on the floor, horrified. "I slept badly yesterday and had heard several steps. But nobody could have foreseen that something like this would happen."
"Don't blame yourself, brother," Chariti cheered him up, although she was just as upset as he was. "You can't help it."
"You are siblings ??" Aima asked, who had only been silent until now. "Why didn't I know that?"
"It doesn't matter now!" Boryōku roared furiously. "My soldier was murdered by a psycho! I damn well want to know who it was!"
"Perhaps one of the natives noticed something," suggested Aima. "Don'yoku, inquire about it."
"What's the point? He could tell us what he wants because we still can't understand the language," Mukanshin mumbled.
"Damn it, why is everyone accusing me ?? Besides, it might as well have been you, after all, you were up yesterday! "
"Just thought out loud, won't happen again," Mukanshin winced.
"I hope so too, hell," came Don'yoku's answer. "All right, I'll ask the savages"
The natives hadn't seen or heard anything unusual. Aima put forward the theory that the primitives could have done it too, but Shōkyū rejected them again, as they would never have dared to attack a companion of their death god. "Religion is stronger than anything," he quoted one of his superiors from the church.
