The Lion and the Rose

Prologue

March 2020

It's the last day of her summer internship at an automobile company. The past one month has been a good learning experience and she gained new relations within a short period of time. The employees of the organisation have become a family and everyone treats her like a sister/daughter, whether it's a male or female.
As it's her last day of the internship, she has to stay only for half a day after receiving her certificate. She leaves the organisation alone as her friend couldn't make it today and waits at the bus stand. The bus arrives and she gets into it. Due to noon time the bus is almost empty ony five to six passengers are sitting and lost in their mobile phones.

Getting a ticket, she sits at the last seat and plugs in her headphones to listen to songs. She is a musician and aspires to be a singer. Singing is her soul, but to not disturb others in the bus she just murmurs the song to herself. After two stopping, a guy gets into the bus, looking at the guy she cringes and starts shivering.
This guy has been stalking her for a year now, even after multiple warnings, he never stopped invading her peace. He comes closer to her and sits next to her, she moves closer to the window and prays to god to send someone to protect her.

The guy takes a bottle from his pocket and starts shaking it. Fearing she tries to scream for help but the moment he opens the bottle her voice drops, she couldn't make any sound. She tries to make an action so that someone notices her but the bus conductor is talking with the driver in front and others are busy with their own self. Before she could do anything she loses her consciousness.

The guy was moving closer to touch her inappropriately when a strong hand stopped him. A tall and strong male holds the guy's hand and twists it. The guy screams with pain and all the passengers look behind them to check what's happening. Her protector hits the guy and with the help of others hands over the guy to the police. Her parents were informed after taking her to the hospital. Giving his statement the stranger leaves before her parents could arrive, requesting the police not to reveal his identity.
