Lord Shiva opens his eyes after being in meditation for a long period.
"Swamy" Devi Parvathi calls out to her husband Devon ka Dev Mahadev.
"Yam arivom Devi, ithanai natkal aaga namathu mangan Ganapathi ah azhithu kondu iruntha Siva ippozhuthu intha Shiva vai azhithu ullan." He smiles at his wife. (I know, Devi. All these days, Siva was calling for our son Ganapathi to help him but today he called this Shiva.)
"Yen intha thidir mattram, Swamy?" She looks quizzically at her husband. (Why is this sudden change?)
"Unmai ariyathathu pol nandragave nadikindrai, Devi." She smiles, shrugging her shoulders. "Appozhithu avan kadum bramachariyathi kadai pidithan nammathu magan Ganapathi yai kapatra kori azhithu kondu irunthan. Ippozhudhu thaan kadhalil vizhunthan atha naal dhaan ennai azhikindran." He explains with a proud smile. (You are asking as if you don't know anything, Devi. Then he was very much single so he was calling our son Ganapathi but now he has fallen in love so he is calling me for help.)
"Athuvum seri dhaan, thaangal thaan aaya kalaigal arupathu naangaiyum intha agilathirku agitre," Devi blushes. (True that, you are the originator of all sixty four art forms.)
"Hei Kalli nee avvapozhuthu Kaali en pathai maranthu vidugirai," He teases his wife. (Hei my mischievous girl, sometimes you forget that you are the Goddess Kaali.)
"Poongal, Swamy. Thangaluku eppozhum Vilayattu dhaan." She turns away, "Aanal yen intha Deva vai thapika vaitheergal endru thaan vilanga villai," She wonders (For you it's always teasing and playing, Swamy. But I don't understand, why did you let Deva escape?)
"Anaikindra pogum vilakku dhaane, Devi, prakasamaaga eriyum. Athu pondru dhaan, ithuvum. Avan kathai mudiyum neram vegu arugil ullathu aathe samaiyam avanal silla kariyangal aaga vendiyathu ullathu. Yenna vaaga irunthalum nammathu autokaara thambi allava atha naal thaan vitu vaithulen," He smiles sarcastically. (The lamp shines brighter at the verge of its extinguishing, Devi. Similarly, his end has neared but at the same time, I need him for a purpose. Whatever it is, at the end of the day, he is our trump card, so I let him live for a few more days.)
"Hmm agatum, Swamy," The goddess starts to think. (Hmm ok, Swamy.)
"Yenna, Devi, neeyum maanidargal pola Hmm seri endru korugirai," he looked at her in shock. "Aanal unathu azhaiya netriyil ulla kodukalai parthal nee etho yosithu kondu irupathu pol irukkindrathe," he enquired her and she relaxed. (What happened, Devi, you are using human's slang? But the frown on your pretty forehead says you are in deep thoughts.)
"Neenga aduthu enna seiya pogirirgal endru thaan sinthithu kondu irunthen, Swamy." She looks at him sideways and he gives a knowing smile. (I was just thinking, what are you going to do next in their life?)
"Erkanave Kaamadevanuku thoothu anupi avar velaiyai thovangivitar. Ippozhuthu Siva, unathu Annan Krishnan udaiya bhakthanidam aalosanai ketka pogenran. Ellam nallathagave mudiyum, Devi," He gives his wife a victorious smile. (I have already sent a message to Kaamdev and he has started his work. Now, Siva is going to call your brother's devotee for advice. Everything will be fine, Devi.)
"Thangal setting yeh ... manichu ... thangal thiruvilaiyaadalai yaaral thavirka mudiyum," she praises him, folding her hands together and bows to her husband, playfully.
