The waves return back into the sea after dancing around my feet. I keep looking at the distance where the sea and sky imaginarily meet. My mind, emotions, and feelings have been in chaos since yesterday.

I couldn't sleep the entire night thinking of the events that happened in the office. I really don't understand how Siva trusted me, took the risk and also won the challenge.

I wanted to sing the Kanna Vessi song at the moment when he felt proud of me. But each and every word in the lyric felt so close to me and I felt the meaning of every word syncing with my emotions. Then the awkwardness followed by our hug.

When Siva suddenly hugged me I couldn't realise anything and hugged him back. It's not the first time for me to hug a male but his touch felt something different. I felt safe in his warmth which I used to feel in the hugs with my father and brothers. But the hug is definitely not friendly or brotherly or fatherly, it's something emotional that transpired between us.

All the employees of the organisation are assembled at Siva's family beach house to celebrate the success of the investor meeting. I came in a sundress suitable for a beach visit but to play a fun task we had to change into different clothes.

Those who were interested in participating in games were divided into two teams. One team was asked to pick a lot from the bottle and was asked to dress up for the movie character mentioned in it. Two characters from the same movie were paired with the opposite team members to play the games.

The trick in the game was that the movie characters have to be maintained throughout the games if they fail, the trio will be disqualified. I got the characters of Thiripurasundari and Moni akka as my grandmother from the Michael Madana Kama Rajan movie. We both were paired with Bharathan sir and I had to work with him again, after yesterday.

Siva didn't participate in any of the tasks but was enjoying by going around and mostly trying to spoil Bharathan's play to tease him and Moni akka. It felt so good to see his happy and playful side getting exposed.

But one thing for which I was confused is Siva's reaction when I playfully said that for this semester my hometown is Coimbatore. It was yet another acknowledging blush from him after the Christmas Charity gala. He used to get tense or say ayyayyo when someone teases us like that but he also stayed quiet for Bharathan sir's Deiveega kadhal comment, yesterday.

Why is he behaving strangely and Why am I even bothered by his reaction?

The hair on the nape of my neck stands up as the feel of being watched by the Devil creeps in. I try not to panic and casually turn but get hit against a strong wall of muscles. I prepare myself to have the fall but get balanced by a strong pair of hands around my waist and shoulder.

I opened my eyes to find Siva holding me and I felt Deja vu connecting to my first day in the office, when Siva held me from falling off the staircase. But some other moment also keeps trying to break the gates of the hidden tunnel in my mind.
