What just happened?

I blink in Awe as Siva runs up the stairs, taking two steps at a time. I pant heavily and lean back on the door, pressing my hand against my chest. Since our patch up we have been kissing a lot but this felt something so deeper. He never kissed like the way he kissed me now. It felt like he would take it for more but at the end he controlled himself and left.

Since morning Siva was worried about the factor issue but ever since we landed at Coimbatore, he seemed lost and talking weirdly. After arriving here, I thought about changing into my pyjamas and to wear the saree in the morning before changing into my other dress to make the saree look worn. But seeing the state of Siva, I dropped the idea of teasing him and decided to change his mood.

I know that he likes me a little bit more when I'm wearing a saree with a small bindi on my forehead. When he first saw me as I came out of my room he stood awestruck but suddenly stopped looking at me and started ignoring me until the murmuring confrontation. I was thinking that my idea to change his mood didn't work but just now when he kissed me, sucking out all my air, making me breathless, I realised in what ways his mood got changed.

Ayyo nekku vekkam vekkam ah varuthe!!

I close my face with my hands before stepping into the room and locking the door behind me. I know that Siva is not what everyone thinks of him: attitude, arrogant and strict officer but he is something different that others could decipher. With close people he has always unleashed his true fun loving, naughty and playful attributes.

When Samarth anna and Siva went through their memory lane, I got the confirmation that like Vishu, Siva is also an introvert to strangers and way more extrovert to his dear ones. It felt so good to cook along with Siva. Whether it's preparing a presentation or cooking with his guidance, I will always excel in everything.

During dinner, going through the memory lane, also made him laugh out loud forgetting his worries. He looked so cute that I wanted to pinch his cheeks. After dinner he didn't wait for me to reply with a good night but just said his wish and started going up the stairs. I was just watching him and in an instant, I couldn't realise how it happened, but he moved like a wind and I was like a leaf, curled up in his arms, kissing him.

His hold was so tight and crushing, his nails were digging deep and forming crescent-like marks on my waist. I didn't turn on the lights as there was enough light coming from outside through the window. I remove my saree and touch the marks. Thankfully, in tomorrow's dress, my waist will be covered else I might have needed a concealer to cover it.

I change into my pyjamas and turn towards the bed to find a dark figure crossing the window. I stand still in shock as it's not any cat or dog but a man. The figure moved slowly and cautiously, looking around, towards the front side of the house. He must be between Samarth Anna and Siva height and well built.

No it can't be him.

I breathe heavily with panic and take a couple of steps behind until I hit some furniture in the room. I run out of the room, run up the staircase and find Siva's bedroom door left open and dark with no light to my sight.

Why didn't he close the door?

My panic increased and I entered his room calling out his room, only to stand frozen in shock, looking at the vision in front of me. Siva must be just out of the shower, his hair is wet and he is equally frozen as me, pausing his action of patting his hair dry.

My eyes travel down his face, I swallow hard and he mirrors my action. A droplet of water drips down from his collarbone and travels down his midchest, washboard abs and my eyes along with a few more droplets follows its path until disappearing into the waistband of his sweatpants.
