The Budding Power Couple Award goes to Mr. Sivakumar Venkatraman and Mrs. Ashwika Kannan Sivakumar from VAD Motors.

Siva blushes for the announcements and Ashwika looks at him sideways. The couple gets up from their seats and walks up the South Indian Industrial Awards stage to receive their awards. Their company staff who are also receiving awards and invited for the events cheer for their Chairman and Operations Head as they receive the award.

True to his mother, Shaku ma's words, their daughter, Swara turned out to be their family's lucky charm like her mother to her father. Within three days of her birth, V&D Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. received the licence to manufacture cars. As their sons proved their efficiency in getting the licence, the Chairman duo Venkatraman and Dharma resigned from their positions.

An election was conducted through which Sivakumar and Rakesh Kumar were elected as the Chairman and CEO, respectively by the votes of Board members and major shareholders. They renamed V&D Automobiles as VAD Motors on the launch event of their first diesel car segment.

When Swara was seven months old, Ashwika rejoined VAD Motors as an Assistant Manager in Operations team with her experience in SKGI and internships during her B.Com (CS) and MBA courses. After a year, she was promoted as the Operations Head along with her non-blood brother Puviarasu when the automation system they proposed became a success.

She didn't get any help from her husband but he was stunned and felt proud when she came up with the proposal. It was solely a mix of smart work and hard work by her and Puvi. All other office staff with whom Ashwika created a special bond when she did her summer internship were so happy that their little sister has turned into a successful intellectual woman.

"So, how was this journey?" The male host asks the couple.

"Which journey are you asking about?" Siva reverts a question back to the host.

"Both, personal and professional," the female host answers him.

"Magical," Siva locks his gaze with his wife and Ashwika sighs heavily as her husband's eyes have the power to make her legs go weak even in front of hundreds of people. "We both were wandering in two different paths but destiny made our paths cross and when she came into my life, everything became more beautiful and successful."

"Mrs. Ashwika, you are a mother, daughter-in-law, wife of a company's chairman, operational head of a company and also a singer. How are you managing all these roles at the age of 26?" The female host asks Ashwika.

"I'm also a daughter and a friend," she replies to the host. "If a man like my husband supports his wife, any woman can successfully handle any number of roles in her life. He never let me fail in any of my roles."

"So that's why V&D automobiles was renamed as VAD Motors?" The male host asks the couple.

"No. The Chairman and the CEO replaced the ampersand symbol into the 'A' of and." Ashwika hurries to correct the misconception.

"Wow. So, Mr Sivakumar, your wife is a beautiful singer and her voice pierces through the soul. Have you ever sung for her?" The male host asks Siva and he adjusts his throat, shakes his head.

"A couple of times, but only my wife has the love and patience to hear it. Others will run for the hills and I want everyone to reach their home safely," The entire audience laughed at his reply.

"Mrs. Sivakumar, a few lines from your song or any of your favourites..." The female host requests Ashwika.

"It feels good to be addressed as Mrs. Sivakumar," she turns towards her husband. "A few lines that could describe my husband..."
