Last year, I was trying to run away from my feelings for her. This year, I just can't wait to run away to honeymoon with her.
"Hello, vanakam, vandhanam, swagatham. Coimbatore Sonthakaranga, Kerala Banthangale, Chennai Nanbargale ellarum vanthacha?" Ashwika's best friend Aathira standing under the limelight on the stage, welcomes the guest. (Has everyone arrived?)
"Ellam vanthachu," the guests screamed with a cheer. (Yes.)
Ashwi was so happy when Aathira's parents allowed her to attend our pre wedding reception and wedding. The reception hall lights are dimmed and Ashwika and I are sitting with the guest in the first row. Under the dim light and nude makeup Ashwi looks more beautiful.
She didn't go for a heavy size lehenga or ball gown with layers of bright makeup, fashionable hairdos and shining jewels. She went for a simple and elegant silk half saree set, traditional jewels and free hair. When we exited our rooms to reach the banquet hall, my knees went weak and I literally fell back on Raj to hold me. To match with her, I chose a green blazer with white shirt and black pants.

Mathew joins Aathira on the stage with limelight over him. He got her number from Jeni and arranged for a program during our reception and he is one of the reasons for her mother to permit her as he is an ACP and assured her safety. (Everyone of us knows the reason why we are assembled today. Our most adored Siva Ashwika is getting married tomorrow and this is a small sangeet cum pre wedding reception.)
